Great technical mouse with small flaw
Bought this SteelSeries mouse on Black Friday for a little under what its worth. Overall its a high quality gaming mouse.Tracking on this is smooth and the CPI range is pretty standard for a gaming mouse. The feel of the mouse sets it apart from the glossy plastic texture of most gaming mouses. It feels sleek to the touch yet holds the grip of your hand like rubber without the sandpaper texture, so there is little accidental finger movement. The clicks feel solid, and it moves very well. The guild wars design is very nice, but it is white so you will have to watch smudges with dirty fingers. The steel series software is bomb-diggity if your into customizing mouse features. The only downside I see to this has been mentioned already in another review of this here; the right hand side buttons are not easily distinguishable when pressing if you are a righty, particularly the lower right hand side button. This mouse was built for righties AND lefties, so that one side button will take alot of getting used to if you plan to use it as a righty on quick reaction. Honestly if you're planning to bind alot of hot keys to your mouse you should probably get a naga, this isnt a mouse for that.(4 stars for that)If your a claw grip user, this mouse is excellent. It has a small form factor and swipes very easily if you use low cpi. High cpi play is also clutch with claw grip with the accurate tracking and all. Palm grip users should be ok with this (I dont use palm grip), but keep in mind if you have big hands and use this with palm grip you may have to adjust your grip a bit. Also, pretty lights. That is all.

A Really Good Gaming Mouse!
I just got my SteeleSeries Guild Wars 2 Mouse today, and I have to say, it truly is a worthy replacement of my old Logitech G5 Gaming mouse. The SteeleSeries Guild Wars 2 Mouse is a rubberized mouse. But it does not feel too rubbery, nor does it feel too plastic like in nature. If anything, it has a nice silky feel to it and is quite comfortable. The mouse is designed not just for right handed users like myself, but left handed users as well. This can cause a small problem of accidently bumping the buttons on the side every so often, but it is not a total draw back. The SteeleSeries Guild Wars 2 is easy to set up right out of the box. You just plug it in and it works like any other mouse! However, SteeleSeries does not include the software for programming the macros in the box. You will have go to their website and download it, which is not a big deal. The software itself is very easy to use and makes programming the mouse for Guild Wars 2 a breeze! You can even program the light up features on the mouse to "pulse" at 3 speeds, turn the lights off, or leave them on all the time. You can set up the cpi speed to what you feel comfortable with and even record how many clicks you use during game to see which macros would be best used on which buttons.Combined with a good mousepad, the SteeleSeries Guild Wars 2 mouse just glides with ease. The Guild Wars 2 design is aesthetically gorgeous to look at, and will hopefully hold up for many years to come. Though a tad bit expensive, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this mouse to anyone interested in an easy to use, nice feeling, fast gaming mouse.

Great Mouse, but I don't like the Steel Series Design
Pros: This mouse looks great, the glowing red scroll wheel and text on the base of the mouse really sold it for me. The performance of the mouse is great, its extremely precise, the clicks are responsive and the mouse wheel clicks when you move it (I don't like smooth wheels).Cons: The ambidextrous design of this mouse does not work for me. Mouse button 4 and 5 on the left side of the mouse are in a good position and I don't accidentally click them as I am moving the mouse around. Mouse button 6 and 7 on the right side of the mouse are symmetrical with buttons 4 and 5. The issue is your hand isn't symmetrical, what works on the left side of the mouse with your thumb is completely in the way on the right side of the mouse with your ring and pinky fingers.I know I am rather picky when it comes to mice and I really tried to give this mouse a shot, but as soon as I started playing my game and I got into a combat situation, I tensed up and start clicking buttons 6 and 7 randomly. I know that I could unbind the buttons, but I still hear them click and it throws me off.

Great mouse but Mac users beware
I am a mac user and bought this mouse to play GW2. While most of the buttons are set to specific actions in the game (the two buttons on the right side are not), you cannot change the key binding since the SteelSeries Engine software is not compatible with this mouse yet.Other than that issue, this mouse is great to use. Smooth tracking and clicking. It is comfortable to use for hours without any wrist/hand issues.

A Must if You Must Use a PC for Competitive Gaming
A veteran of competitive action-adventure gaming, I find this appliance a great help. Its four extra buttons are almost infinitely programmable. I find it much easier to hit one of the extra mouse buttons in the heat of combat than to click something on a screen that may be so cluttered with visual effects that I can't even see the cursor. You can even program a sort of macro with several button pushes in a string, thus, for example, initiating combat with several quick protective spells and an attack lots faster than you could do manually. You can program this mouse differently for each toon you play, and switch programs in a few seconds. It installed easily and has been trouble free. Highly recommended!

Amazing Mouse! :D
This is by far the coolest mouse i have owned, operation is smooth and the macros work great. I mainly play GW2 and other MMORPGs such as Tera and some LoL, and this mouse works great. For GW2 I was able to set Targeting and several attacks to the buttons on the mouse which makes leading a party or zerg a hell of a lot smoother. Overall i recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a solid mouse, or anyone as obsessed with GW2 as i am.

Junk
A total waste of money. The drivers that allow you to use the extra buttons cause my pc to freeze.
