For the price of the Scarf, it is very good value.I purchased this to send to a friend in the USA who likes all things English. To this end, I did not take the scarf fully out of the cellophane pocket that it was in. I did however slide it out a little way and found the fabric of the scarf to be nice and soft. The colours were nice and not too bright or garish. It is fairly thin, but totally suitable for the style of scarf and the way these long floating scarves are usually worn.It would be best to hand wash only as I think too many washes in a machine would be detrimental to the life of the scarf.Would purchase again in similar circumstances.UPDATE - 22/01/2015Just had an email from my friend in America and she is delighted with this scarf. She says it is a great length and feels so soft and comfortable.

It is a very nice scarf for the price, It can be used as a shawl it as it opens to a large square. It is soft and very thin, just right if you do use it as an evening shawl, because you just roll it us as the picture for a soft chill or roll it up into a full scarf for a colder night.It has pictures of London on it and the major street names.At the price you can buy it for friends all over the world and because it is very light, the postage will not be excessive.

I bought two of these - one for a visitor to London, the other for a newly established British citizen, they aren’t the highest quality but are ok as a London / British souvenir - probably not entirely value for money, but good as souvenirs.

I give this souvenir to family members and friends.. (women)..all of them was happy to wear it: for the quality (soft) and for the good colours..Thanks to the Suppliers! If I will need again one souvenir (for female), sure, I will buy again this one!

Nice shawl which was bought as a gift for a foreign friend. Perfect for my needs. Quite thin but can't really complain for the price I paid for it. Happy to recommend.

This was bought as a little gift for my TA as she loves London. Quick delivery. It is made of soft cotton. The design is okay but not the best quality.
