Lifelines Pen Diffuser, Walk in the Woods, 1mm Black Ballpoint Pen

Omg best pen ever. I love the smell and the look. The pen writes pretty good. I would love it as a gel pen but this is amazing. I am already looking for the other scents.

The aromatherapy-while-you-write gimmick actually works — Citrus Grove has a light, real presence without being distracting, and the 1mm ballpoint writes smooth like a normal pen. Scent isn't super long-lasting through the day, more of a nice-to-have than a strong aromatherapy tool. Fun conversation piece for a desk.

I bought them as a gift. I thought the scents will be light but ooh boy was I wrong. They are really heavy and the first time I opened them they made me nauseous. I would recommend to air them out a little bit before using them. Of all the scents the ones I liked the most were the vanilla ice cream and the cinnamon roll (smelled like cinnamon only). I think that they smelled similar to the real thing. I didn't love the chocolate chip one because it didn't really smell like it to me , wasn't bad but didn't smell great either. Love how the pen writes (black ink all), nice grip and smooth writing, no smudging. Saw other reviews mentioning leakage, but all the pens were full and I didn't see any visible leakage in any of them. The recipient was pretty happy with them. I don't know about carrying it in a purse because I will be worried about leakage, or maybe being punctured by other things in my purse or bag, so I will recommend to always carry it in the protective cover they come with. Took out one star because I don't think that the smell captured entirely what they were trying to market (which is the key feature for the price they're selling them) but the pens are really nice to write with.

Update: Lifelines reached out to me immediately about the issues I had with the pens and they were very kind and understanding. Wonderful costumer service and all around just really compassionate and a great experience. They sent me a replacement pen and a journal for the issues. Both are just lovely! I really did love the pens from the start. They feel and write beautifully. I like that for little sketches I can get great variations in the darkness and solidity of the ink i can't really get from other pens. The feel of the grip is so comfortable and the scent is so relaxing and wonderfully soothing. Very calming and the journal is such a unique, really neat experience! Love the textures and interactive quality to it. Really amazing products, I would completely recommend to anyone! Great products and great seller! Thank you so much! Original comment: I ordered three different scents. And while they are nice, smell lovely and are relaxing for the most part and I like the fact that they came with a tube for safety storage, two out of the three pens had previously been opened before arriving and were missing the replacement ink cartridges. Other than that they seem really nice. They are very comfortable to write or draw with and a relaxing use experience. It's just a shame they were tampered with and thus will not last as long now. I don't know how how long the single ink cartridge will survive, but hopefully it will be a while. Also, one of the scents on one of the pens contains orange which I am allergic to but no where in the literature does it explain which scent it is or if its all four. Thus I can't use that pen which is a shame. I wish the ingredients were more clearly explained. Otherwise very nice though.

Love these pens! The scent is not overpowering. It's just enough. The people I work with like them too. I have seen a few of them looking the pens up.

Saw this in a college bookstore as part of a journal set, and came here to find just the pen. Ordered the blue and purple - my daughter who loves writing promptly stole the blue one from me and I’ve been using the purple daily. There are four little chambers for the scents and one was about 1/2 gone when it arrived but no leaking in the package I could see. There was a note about putting it back in the carrying case if you take it on a plane because it could leak with the pressure changes so I left it at home for a recent trip. I was surprised it actually writes smoothly and well. It came with an ink refill which meant I had to save the case but that tells me they think the scent it will last a long time. I don’t see a way to refill the scent so that’s probably their way of letting you get your money’s worth. I love a bold pen - my favorite is Ink Joy RT7 with a soft cover Cambridge spiral notebook (feels sort of velvety but flexible). This one is just a little fatter and no taper for your hand, so the feel is close but not quite as good as the Ink Joys. Also wish it came in blue ink. Been using for a few months and fragrance not noticeably lower, although I don’t usually even bother opening one of the vents. I can’t really smell it when it’s on the table even with the vents open I can smell it with them closed and up close. I tend to press the plastic top of the pen against my lips while I am deep and thought and smell it that way. Very nice in the middle of winter in Michigan and thinking about planting flowers and warmer times. I am left handed - like many others I write in such a way that my hand goes immediately over what I just wrote. I started using the ink joy because it’s smudged less than others, but this gets on my hand even less! I call that a huge win for lefties - I’d give it 4.5 stars for the pen alone (ink could be just a tad darker and barrel just a little more tapered for holding), and 5 stars overall for the added scent. I work from home and have ADHD. I love aromatherapy but air fresheners you don’t smell after a while, diffusers, you have to refill, and I don’t want the moisture/humidify around a computer (my screens take up most of the desk). I had a wax warmer on a smart plug so I didn’t forget to shut it off but those get intense quickly and I’m still worried about the cats knocking it over (I spilled one once on carpet). Candles I’d definitely forget to blow out and, cats. This isn’t strong enough I’d think it would bother a fragrance-sensitive office mate. Good compromise between the options and pretty good pen to boot.

These smell so good, I just had to start a collection. Of the 7 that I purchased, all but one have an essential oil chamber that is either half empty or more than half empty. I don’t mind the discoloration so much, the oils can change colors depending on how they’re stored, but I’m really bummed that almost all of them had the same issue. The pens are comfortable to hold. The ink formula could be a bit smoother and darker. They really do smell lovely, but be aware that they may not arrive full. They really do brighten up a boring workday with their delightful scent. Keep the tube and cap that the pen is packaged in to store when not in use. If you choose to not store it that way, the oils will evaporate quickly. Also, keeping it in the tube protects it from getting broken, and they absolutely will break if dropped or not used properly.

These are my FAVORITE pens of all time. I don’t geek out on things often because I work in brand and CPG, but I would love to write this company and beg for one in every scent. They are THAT good. I never lower the buttons, which is what releases more of the scent. I do however keep them inside their plastic tubes 24/7 unless I’m using them which may help keep the scents strong. The pens are smooth writing, nothing fancy, just your regular sort of run of the mill black ink pen. But it feels great to hold the barrel, the smell while you are writing is great, and the smoothness of writing is lovely.

They smell beautiful and write nicely. I don't think they have different scents... im not sure if they are supposed to but they have buttons all around it saying relax, energy, joy, etc.

Love this pen. I just wish you could refill it with your own essential oils when it was empty
