Some brands will be too large for this, but the majority will fit snuggly. There are only 293 individual spots. It did fit my 300 set of Kalour. The zipper handles get lost under the spine. Otherwise I think it's worth the price I paid.

When I first got this delivered, I couldn't wait to take it out of the box so I could swatch my newest set of pencils. The design is pretty, the size makes it just right to have next to me with comfort and room when choosing color theme for my next picture. There is one and only thing I could say as a negative: at first, is the slots are very tight, I had to wiggle / half-turn the pencils to slide them down gently, especially when in between two others. But that is minor; for me anyway. And they stretched.

I was looking for a case that held a large quantity of colored pencils, that had individual slots. If you have Brutfuner or similar colored pencils you can’t always put them side by side, not wide enough spacing. Sometimes have to put a narrow pencil by a wide pencil. Plus zipper sticks. Also lead broke trying to slide it in slot at least twice so far, elastic just not sewn right. Disappointed. Haven’t had this problem with other cases. I wouldn’t order this one again.

This is a well made and very cute pencil carrier. It holds 300 pencils easily, and makes it SO convenient to find the color I'm looking for. The price is outstanding. Have already recommended to others.

I have other 300 cases which are exactly the same size and shape - all with multiple zippered sections - except that the loops are much larger, so you have to put up to 3 pencils in each slot if you want to fit in all 300. I was SO excited to stumble upon this case because I really prefer to have one loop per pencil and I also prefer multi-zipper cases.The current dimensions of the case works great for the larger, triple size loops, but they're not suited to a whole lot more of the smaller size loops. In order to make all 300 single loops fit, they had to squeeze them close together. That's not a a problem until you start putting more than 3 pencils side by side. Once you get to 4 or more pencils side by side, good luck getting the ones in the middle out (no less, back in). If you compare this case to any other single loop pencils case, you will notice that in other cases, the single loops are much further apart which is why it's no problem to get the pencils in and out.The bottom line is, if you are not planning to fill this case with 300 pencils and you are willing to leave every 4th loop blank, than this case might be fine for you. However, if you ARE planning to fill every single loop, I hope you have strong fingers, a good grip and a lot of patience because you're going to be in for a struggle.Overall, this is a great concept. A lot of colored pencil collectors/users are looking for a 300 slot pencil case with one slot per pencil because a lot of us own a popular set which contains 300 pencils. This case would have worked well if they had just added another zippered section (so, 5 zippered sections, not 4). That way, they could have spread the loops out the way they are in other single loop cases.On the plus side, the print (I bought the grey, pink and white cat print) is adorable. It's nice to see some more fabric and print choices in the single loop, multi-zipper cases. If this situation gets corrected I will buy this case again in a heartbeat, but for now it's going back. I have better ways to spend $30.

I should have listened to the reviewer who said the elastic bands are too small to fit the pencils side by side and be able to take them in and out. Individual pencils will go into the bands, but once you put in about 10 pencils you cannot remove and replace pencils from the middle. See photos. I tried it with my Prismacolors and Polychromos. I would be breaking leads trying to force pencils in and out.I'm so disappointed as I have not found a 300 count case that has individual slots. If only they had made the bag a couple inches longer or, better yet, added a 5th zipper compartment in order to spread the loops out and make them the correct size. Sadly, this bag is getting returned.

This case has plenty of room for all my colored pencils as well as my colored pens that I use. It is a great way to keep them organized while still being able to see and locate them while using them.

I was able to organize all my colored and sketching/charcoal pencils. They were in a jumbled mess of a case and the tips broke off frequently.
