i bought this lamp for my bed side and not for campingas i have medical equipment i use on the one socket and wanted something portable and it works a treat and should last a while on the 3 d sized batteries as its only for the odd ten minuets through the night when going on a visitit has two brightness levels and a flash mode i would have liked a third brightness level and maybe a firefly mode which is supper lomy only minor complaint is that the on off button flashes constantly and you cant turn it off i suppose this would be handy if you were in a tent in pitch dark it would help you find the thing in the dark but not good for my useiv'e turned it facing the wardrobe and it doesn't seem to bother me mucha bargain all the same and might buy another for down stairs for early mornings

Although this is very bright once the batteries are in I'm not very happy with it. I found it difficult to install the batteries correctly and something broke off when I was screwing the base off. I wouldn't recommend this item.

Very bright, good reflector & diffuser.runs on D cells so lasts a long time.

It certainly is bright - even on the half setting. Cannot complain - just had to put a cut down sock over it to reduce it to a comfortable glow.

My boyfriend ordered this and is chuffed to bits with it, the light has a couple of settings and is very bright

Bought for when new shed arrived.Worked maybe an hour in total.Changed batteries several times.Doesn't work.

I got this because my grandson doesn’t like the dark at night when he stays at my house. He loves it. It seems very robust and easy to use.

Brought this just to make good use of a box of D cells that I had laying around and I'm glad I did. Simple solid design. The base is rubberised so it doesn't slide about.
