Direct fit replacement for my 2007 Ducati Monster S2R 1000
The original stator in my S2R died after the insulation on the charging wires leading from the stator to the rectifier became exposed and caused it to ground out against the stator cover. The rectifier suffered as a result due to completely discharged battery and melted wire harness so I replaced it and the stator all at the same time. Easy -breezy, it was a direct fit, direct bolt on, no modifications required.Checked the voltage on my charged battery at startup and it was 12.6v; rode the bike down the road a few miles and checked it again with my multimeter and it was 14.5v so I know it was working perfectly. I would rather have genuine parts if possible, particularly for electrical parts but I'm confident with this order.
