This product is surprisingly good for the money. I did not have high expectations.The material is flexible so it needs to be on a flat surface to work.The only issue I had was on mornings below freezing the electronics would freeze up a bit and not open all the way. I can’t see how this would be preventable. Overall this product is very good especially for the cost

This took us around 20 mins for installation, setting the time on it is pretty self explanatory and easy to do. So far it has worked except this morning after some rain splashed a little sand on it it got jammed halfway up. Should work again fine after some cleaning! IT didn’t take the chickens too long to figure out how to go in and out, and the timer auto open and shut makes my mornings and evenings just a little bit easier!

We have another brand of chicken coop door that has been wonderful for the last year. We saw this door and thought for the price we would give it a try for our interior coop door over winter. Don’t do it! It went down the first night, but wouldn’t open the next morning so my husband had to get the girls out through the cleaning door. We replaced the batteries for brand new ones hoping it would work the second night, but unfortunately the same thing happened! Thank goodness he checked on them!! Awful door, just stick with the name brand it’s worth it. We will be returning this ASAP!

Although this product did not workout for me. I changed my rating to a 5 star because this company has great quality customer service. I look forward to seeing products in the future from them and seeing them grow.

so after 2 days of using …. Ugh it catches and doesn’t open all the way and then don’t close all the way . I have to babysit the stupid thing and press the buttons to get it to finish the job which is bs I bought this so I didn’t have to do this in the first place! Do I have a defective model????? The seller insist on continuing correspondence which I have complied with. But this product doesn’t work as advertised and they are aware of the issue. So why are they still selling it? Why hasn’t this been pulled and replaced? Smh 🤦‍♀️ finally they have refunded my funds and admitted selling faulty equipment.

Have not had a chance to get it installed yet, but have run it through some testing. Construction is alright, and the timer functions work well. The battery door fit was a little sloppy, and I’m mildly concerned about how well it will hold up in the wildly variable northern Midwest weather. Will update once it’s been installed for awhile with how it holds up.

I set this up on the outside of enclosed run. The coop door does not get sun so that door uses a battery door however I wanted to close off the run at night to avoid mice and rats getting into the chicken food. This works perfect. Install was a breeze and solar is a huge bonus, one less set of batteries to continually charge. Now to setup solar on the other door.

DO NOT BUY!! Try as i might, the door will not move up or down. Worked great out of the box. But once installed -- no way.

We installed and tested the door Sunday and it worked perfectly. I was incredibly excited. This morning went to check on the chickens to see if the automatic time opening had worked and it hadn't. Pushed the buttons to manually open and the door whirred bur no action. Had to carry the chickens out and put them in their run. We followed up with the supplier directly and they were very responsive in helping us troubleshoot around the product. After careful review it was deemed our temperatures were impacting the units performance.The supplier resolved the manner quickly and proactively. Thank you!

So far so good, took me a bit to figure out how to get it to auto. Well built and simple so should be few problems. Will update if things go sideways

The media could not be loaded.  This is a very well-made device. I appreciate how simple it is to use with the up-and-down buttons or setting a timer, and I appreciate just how late the machine is.having a sensor to stop the door if there’s a chicken coming through is a very good feature to have. I was afraid that an animal might get hurt using it, but I really don’t see that happening. The sensor works very well.It’s super simple to install, just six screws. I will update this review with a video of my chickens using it once I move them into this coop
