This book is very detailed, yet not overwhelmingly so. It is entertaining, and provides so many insights into the game and its personalities that it can't help but make watching NFL (and college and high school) games much more interesting. There is also a wealth of information on the behind scenes issues such as the draft, team management, etc. I got much more than my money's worth from this one.

I wanted to understand the game of football. This book illustrates the game fully. Just remember: the players rarely use their feet in the play.
