I didn't like it that my adjustable twin bed did not come with a headboard. After looking through Amazon I found this gem. I purchased it and put it together the same day it arrived. The instruction and pictures were great, the only thing I wish that companies mark the finished side so you don't have to take part of it apart again. Since it is all black and white drawings you really have to look and count the holes before diving in to assemble. It even comes with a matching color pen for furniture in case of a scratch. I do love it and it works great in my little guest bedroom. It is very sturdy, heavy enough but easy to move with some furniture pads, free standing, I felt that the price was OK for the product.

These were purchased for my son and his roommate for college dorm. The espresso color is what they chose, and it is rich and even colored. I found assembly to be easy. It required one hammer and one screwdriver. I will say the matching colored side stand took me as longer to assemble then the headboard. For the price I paid, I felt I got a very fair deal. There were very minor flaws in the wood. I had to look hard to find those. I planned to use some wood glue along the way to make it more secure, but that was not needed. It was sturdy. You can’t beat the price.

After searching through many bookcase headboards, I chose this one, and I’m very happy with it. It arrived packed very well. There was no damage to any parts. Please note that this headboard does not attach to the bed frame, but this is what I wanted, for ease of moving around. I have a normal box springs and mattress, which are perfectly even with the lower shelf. It was very easy to put together by myself, (I’m a 63 year old woman). The only con is the parts are not marked, as mentioned in other reviews. (Hence the 4 stars, instead of 5) I laid out the parts according to the diagram in the instructions, and had no problem putting it together. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a headboard with storage area.

I assembled this with my daughter’s help for her bed. It took about 30 minutes to fully assemble. We left off the back panel so she could easily have cords going behind the headboard to charge her electronics. It fits nicely at the head of her bed & is sturdy, but it doesn’t have any hardware to attach it to bed rails or anything. Overall, it looks good. Only time will tell as to its durability, though.

I bought these for my two young grandchildren. They share a bedroom in their 2 bedroom apt home. Mattresses worked great tucked up under the headboard. This gave the children their own “space” to keep their special items.Suggesting adding a secure hanger to attach to the wall for safety.

Instructions were easy to follow but the boards were not marked so you had to figure that out first. Seems solid and the Expresso has very nice color to it. A small scratch was in the wood but they included a wood colored marker that covered it right up. The headboard does not physically attach to the bed frame. So you lean it againest the wall but you can imagine that when you sit on mattress it rattles around. We got around that by placing a blanket between bed and headboard but that also means you have to have it all the way againest the wall or it would lean. Nice for the price but for a few more dollars they could have made a way to attach it.

The media could not be loaded. Really like this. Looks very good. Serves its purpose. Ok material and does not come with hardware to connect to bed frame. The assembly was medium because the boards weren’t lettered or numbered. You kinda just have to lay it out like the pictures in the assembly diagram to be sure you have it together correctly. Other than than that it’s a good purchase.

I ordered this for my dad for his medical bed. It offers him storage space for his glasses, book, phone, etc. It took a little while to assemble, but it looks great.
