Taste is not expected
I do not recommend purchasing this product as the taste of the ghee is disappointing. Unfortunately, Amazon does not allow returns due to their policy. Please refrain from purchasing this product.

Rich beautiful ghee!
This ghee comes well-cushioned in a glass jar and is excellent! Pale yellow in color with a faint nutty aroma. The flavor is mostly neutral with a little bit of that deep roasted nuttiness on the back end. Fantastic for cooking at higher temperatures than you'd use regular butter for, or if you're lactose-intolerant. Bonus that it's shelf-stable at room temp! The jar I received says it was packed the month before I received it - very fresh - and that it's best consumed within 9 months if stored in a cool, dry place.
