Lumbar Support Pillow for Office Chair and Car Back Support - Double Adjustable Straps and Breathable Mesh for All-Day Comfort, Lower Back and Sciatica Pain Relief

This mesh lumbar back support was initially supportive in my husband's Ram Pick Up truck, but within weeks it was just flush up against the seat. Hubby is average height and weight, there's no reason it should have failed so swiftly other than poor materials and design. I bought a second one soon after seeing how well the first one improved the support in the driver's seat, but it was before we knew how short lived the support would be. We really wanted to love this item but alas it gets a big Thumbs down.

I bought this product after acquiring terrible lower back pain from driving 8 hours in my car with little to no lumbar support. I was worried at first that the mesh fabric would be flimsy and easily ripped, but it has proved to be durable and really breathable so my back doesn't sweat as much either. I just completed a 45 hour drive using this product and have no lower back pain whatsoever. Great product. Would gladly buy again. Would have rated five stars but the straps that attach it to the seat are not long enough to reach around either my car seat or my computer chair, which isn’t a big deal cause it stays in place by itself fairly well anyway.

This is a great lumbar support, and I like how light it is to carry and move around. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 because the band that clips around the back of a chair or wheelchair is highly laced with LATEX, to which I am violently allergic. Fortunately I recognized it right away, so was able to protect my hands while handling it. I can't touch the band, so I bought two cotton stethoscope covers at $15 each to cover the latex band. The aspect that gives a "slip-free" cling to a surface is also the one that has latex. I think it should either be changed to a latex-free product or carry a warning that the band to secure the back contains latex, especially as people who are going to use this kind of item may have complex medical problems which may include latex allergy. Otherwise I really like the item and might buy it again if I need another one and can cover up the latex, or would look for one that is latex free.

I bought this to extend the back of my office chair inward a little more. It doesn't adjust, and I was getting back and neck aches, because I couldn't sit all the way back while sitting at my desk. I just wanted to try an inexpensive solution, first, and I'm so glad I did! This cushion is firm, strong, comfortable, breathable, and stays put. The straps are elastic with no-slip rubber, so I barely need to adjust it. I can comfortably lean all the way back on this without it shifting or bending. It's very sturdy. I'm surprised at the quality of this, because the price was so reasonable. Super impressed with this.

This support cushion is very sturdy, more so than I was expecting. It really does a great job of adding lumbar support to my car seat, and I can adjust it up or down as needed to add or remove the amount of pressure it adds. The rubber lines on the strap help keep them in place so it won't slide down. Great item for a great price.

Within a couple of days it was evident that I also needed to get back support for all office chairs.It was an adjustment period for sure, since it turned out - I wasn’t maintaining proper posture. Sitting correctly became a goal. BOD Supports’ blog helped me incorporate a series of easy: “at the desk” exercises which I do during the day and their tips keep me pain free in and out of the office!I made it our office policy, each office chair must have a Support or Cushion and purchased for all my employees. This provides lumbar support and can be adjusted to increase or decrease the level of curve in the support. It straps well to the chair, but tends to slide down and not stay at the place where it is strapped. My main problem is that I do not like things bumping the back of my upper arms when I'm seated and the side frame of this support is pretty wide and tends to bump my arm with the way I sit. it causes arm pain for me. It might not be an issue for others who sit differently, but is not very comfortable for me and will be returning it.

The main reason I cannot give this 5 stars is because the strap that is supposed to keep it on type is not adequate from many chairs. Because it is not Velcro in has no way to it here other than the strap and because my chairs have a mash bottom this does not hold well and falls down and becomes more of an inconvenience then it becomes helpful.
