VeganicityPhase 2 500mg : Weight managemet Supplement : 60 Tablets

I have been using 'Phase 2' ( be wary of fakes out there!) on and off for a number of years. I know everybody is different but I would like to share my experiences/advice to help with the use of white kidney bean ( Phase 2) extract.I disagree with the instructions to take two before EVERY meal! This is misleading and wasteful. I believe we need to respect our body and not consistently 'mess with' it's natural processes. Taking genuine 'Phase 2' before consuming a meal high in processed carbs/sugar/starches has been beneficial in helping to control my weight/blood sugar levels (chromium in this product helps with this)'Phase 2' can cause the body to produce more gas and can lead to bloating if used in excess ( my experience plus two friends...aged mid twenties/early fifties)I generally don't take it if I'm eating complex ( slow release) carbs that do not cause the high release of insulin ( fat storing hormone) Also, when possible, try to eat PROTEIN WITH CARBS ( body uses protein for repair/various processes and uses the carbs as energy instead of storing them as fat)or eat PROTEIN WITH FAT ( PROTEIN UTILIZED AND FAT USED AS ENERGY)BUT > avoid CARBS AND FAT in the same meal because the body uses the FAT for energy but stores the CARBS as BODY FAT! By following this advice over three months, I lost 18lb in weight. Then I added in Phase 2 and in the same time period, I lost another 24lb. (Not dieting just avoiding sugar/starches/processed food, following the rule of NOT mixing CARBS and FATS at the same meal and incorporating PHASE 2)

The tablets are VERY HARD TO SWALLOW! They are big and not very oval and heavy, which you need to have ~3 attempts in order to get it down. Also, because it's not capsulated and the tablets are just made with powder, after received from delivery, when you open the bottle, all the tablets are covered in powder, and when you take a tablet out of the bottle, it gets really messy and there's powder everywhere (on your hands, on the floor/table), and after you've finished with the bottle (as you need to because you've paid for the product), there's lots of powder underneath the bottle - kind of a waste but I don't know what to do with it. Not sure if it's working. Maybe it's just like something you take that you will feel better taking as a mental reassurance rather than it's actually working.

It's not a cure all and you will still need to be careful but this really does help with weight loss. I experienced bloating and gas , occasionally quite severe so beware that this is the risk.

The pills break easily leaving a strong fish odor and green powder everywhere. Reverted to capsules
