Packaging shocking, led don't fit
Received my item philips h3 led lamp/bulb. Packaging that they delivered items in was small, the item in the package was flat and damaged, the led bulbs were not even bubble wrapped one was just floating around the package, these were £40 so not cheap, the h3 led units don't appear to have any damage but haven't tested them as they don't fit the lighting unit I purchased them for, it says same size as h3 halogen but they are not the led part is around the same but the base is not, so if your halogen light is short/tight on space on the bottom side don't bother with these. I purchased these because it said same size as the halogen, I needed to replace my old givi s310 halogen bulb as it had blown, the givi unit/housing is tight on space even with the halogen bulb in it, so these philips h3 led units are to big at base to fit. I myself have had to custom fit the h3 led unit into the housing of my givi s310 I had to drill holes through the reflective back lens inside the housing along with having to tap and die new screw holes to hold the led in place along with the negative wire which attached to led unit, I have only done this on one of the givi s310 units I still have one more to custom fit the other led too. I don't know what the light output is like as I haven't wired them up to a supply yet. Update I have sent these led lights back to amazon as they do not fit into the housing I purchased them for.

LED housing itself (pictured) is too large to fit into my H3 bulb holder. Not a direct fit as advertised. Returned for a full refund.

LEDs are working on one side after half a year
After half of year of user half of the LEDs on both bulbs stopped working. Was expecting more from reputable brand.
