Excellent boots
I have worn out several pairs of these boots. The ones I am currently wearing I have worn working every day for three years. They are beginning to look a little beat up, but they have always kept my feet dry. Very good boots. I decided I wanted a new pair for the upcoming winter but Amazon is saying they don't have them anymore. I have bought a couple of pairs at no discount shoes I guess I will have to go back there

Excellent quality
The Chippewa is the best boot in my opinion. I only wish they would make a 5e or a 6e and they only go to 3e, so I have to get boots a little larger just to get the width. But, the soles and vulcanization between the soles and the uppers is the best. Propet makes a 5e and is a very comfortable boot but the vulcanization between the sold and the upper comes apart within a month or so of squatting down. Also the Propet soles wear much faster than the Chippewa sole. Also the Chippewa has better grip on a tin roof than the Propet. So, I like them both, but the Chippewa will last must longer and if your feet are 3e width and under, you can get as good a fit with Chippewa as you can with a Propet.

Chippewa Boots are the "Benchmark"
I now have 3 pairs of Chippewa boots, each for unique purposes. These are the best boots ever. I have been buying this brand for over thirty years and could not expect better performance.

These are by far the best boots I have ever worn
As I'm buying my second pair after 18 months I guess these deserve a review. These are by far the best boots I have ever worn. I work in construction and wear them every day for 18 months now. I saw another review that complained about the waterproofing and I can confirm they eventually leak. Took mine about a year to start letting water in. I work inside 99% of the time so I'm not taking a star but keep that in mind if you work outside.

Comfy
After wearing it daily for a few weeks, I say this boot is really comfy. As others has said, it has some good arch support compared to other brands. It also don't need to be broken in, as I think the product info says.My only regret is not getting a half size smaller so it can be more snug. So folks who want to get this and don't know how to buy boots like me: Go half size down. If you know what you are doing then carry on.The size I got still works and is still really comfy. Not to mention the comments I got about the boot. It is good looking.

Nice Boot
Decent boot, fits real well for wide feet, not too hot. I would call it more of a heavy duty water resistant but not completely waterproof. If you are out in the rain for long periods, feet will get damp/wet.Would buy again depending on how they last.

Not What They Cracked Up To Be
I purchased these with high hopes looking for a comfortable, durable, waterproof replacement to my Danners. After almost a year of wear, I feel confident to effectively review these boots. Great initial quality and quick break-in period, but that's where the good comments end. The waterproof only lasted maybe a month. I sealed with silicone waterproofer and that didn't make a difference. Feet got nearly as wet as wearing running shoes. The guts are coming out of the laces, in several places. Dark brown laces with white inside cord erupting in loops like miniature solar flares isn't too attractive, or effective. Inside, the lining has shown advanced signs of wear as well. These are indeed made in China in the 13EE size. If you are only going to wear these once in a while, you're probably ok. I wear my shoes every day until they wear out and these didn't cut it.

Size runs big overall a cheap boot.
The cheapest Chippewa boot I have ever owned. I wear a 10D in all the other Chippewa boots I’ve owned or currently have. My original order was a 10M which I had to return for a 9M. They still fit a little big. They wear good but actually wearing them in a construction setting had my feet hurting so bad I had to ice them that night. And yes you are probably thinking it was the “breaking period”. I have always taken my Chippewa boots right from the box and wear never experiencing the breaking period. I will be donating these boots to the local used clothing store. As I do not recommend this style of Chippewa boot, I do recommend Chippewa. I’m giving it a 2 star because I do like Chippewa Boots, this is just a cheap style.
