I searched for a compact but spacious jewelry boc that had locking drawers, which was more difficult to find than I'd have imagined. This one fits the bill and has the features I need. I also wanted to free up some floor space and get rid of the somewhat outdated vertical jewelry cabinet on legs that does not lock (I'd probably have kept it if it could be locked, though). This box is compact and will fit on a dresser (and will look lovely on it) or on a shelf.This front of the jewelry box is very pretty - the painted floral design is quite attractive. The top of the boc (tob of the lid when closed) has carvings on it, which are nice but could perhaps be dust-catchers (in my house, that is). The locking mechanism is a bit difficult to describe - when the lid is closed, it pushes down a device that apparently secures all the drawers. So, if you want to open a drawer you have to first open the lid. This seems a bit inconvenient, but will only be a matter of getting used to.Fair warning - you'll need to place the box somewhere that has ample room above it to fully open the lid. The drawers will not open if the lid is closed. It works fine on top of a dresser, or on a shelf with open space above it. It comes with two keys (cute, sort of old-fashioned looking), and both seem to work well.My preference for storing jewelry was for more space devoted to littlel squares to store bracelets, earrinss, less-delicate necklaces etc. (the ones that don't tangle) rather than vertical spaces with holes to insert earrings, which seem to be the trend in jewelry cases that hang on a door or double as full-length mirrors. This box is nicely designed with the features I wanted and has plenty of space.The box arrived in great shape and was packed nicely in a carton lined with foam on all sides, as well as with clever plastic protectors for the corners of the case. It arrived with no dents scratches.Overall, i am very satisfied, and I would order it again!

I absolutely love this box. Craftsmanship is top notch and it holds so much stuff. I was not loving my previous setup with everything hanging on the wall. I included before and after photos that show just how much more organized things are in the box. So worth the price.

I love the hand-carved lid and hand painted design on the box. The skeleton key with tassel is also pretty. I love the dividers provided in the drawers as well as the little pillows in the deeper bottom drawer. There are plenty of dividers that are perfect for hoop earrings, bracelets, broaches and more. The lid has hooks for necklaces with a pouch to protect the chain. The drawers slide nicely and are removable. I like how the drawers will not open if the lid is closed. That prevents accidental falling out when moved. There is a very light wood smell that is not bothersome at all. I feel that the quality and beauty of this jewelry box is worth the money I spend on it. I highly recommend this jewelry box.

This box holds so much jewelry. I make jewelry so I have TOO MUCH! It is mainly full of earrings. I have a standing jewelry cabinet that is full of necklaces. If you don’t have 60 necklaces and 40 bracelets, it should hold your jewels. High profile bracelets may not fit. I put my bracelets in a dresser drawer.

Looks exactly like the pictures, decent build quality. The rails or lack there of for the drawers are a little flimsy and the drawers come out a little too easily. The box itself is beautiful, the locking mechanism works perfectly! As long as you’re not expecting an antique hand made jewelry box this will meet your expectations!

Great jewelry box worth every penny. Bought it as a birthday present for my wife she just loves it. Super quality and well crafted. Exactly what I was looking for in a luxurious level jewelry box.
