Just put one cage together today: 2 panels on each side. I found it easier to put the corner connectors on the ground first, press the panels in one at a time, and then press the connectors on the top side.Because the plant I wanted to support was already pretty large, I put 3 sides together away from the plant first, then put it around the plant and enclosed it with the final side.I got the hang of the assembly after the first couple of panels - after that it was easy. A very clever solution for varying plant sizes!Since I just installed it, I don't have any idea how well it will hold up - will probably need to let it go thru one season to find out.

I bought these cages to protect my spring tulips from the deer and elk. My favorite part is you can stack them as the plants grow in height. I will be ordering more!

LOVE these! We plan on ordering more of these for use in the upcoming spring/summer. These are easy to assemble, and they are SO sturdy! Having the stakes is a bonus. The cages fit a variety of sizes, which is fabulous for a garden. The size of the openings discourage critters, while still allowing plant growth. We absolutely recommend these!

I really like that these cages are wide enough and can be made tall enough to accommodate many different sizes of plants. Many plant protectors are too small to allow for the growth of the plant, so I'm impressed with the size of these. The metal frames are sturdy and don't bend unless real force is applied. The plastic connector pieces aren't exceptionally tough, but if you use care in assembly and disassembly they should last for a long time. There are also 4" stakes to anchor them to the ground. One thing I really like about them is that there is an audible click when the connector is fully attached to the frame and it's solidly secured. Instructions for assembly are included, with pictures, so if the language is difficult to understand the pictures clear it up. There are even some adhesive rounds to use if any of your connectors get broken. The adhesive label says it's 3M so it should be excellent quality adhesive. These are very nice plant protectors. Someone put some real thought into these. I only wish I could've gotten them in white or green - my issue, no shade!

We have many deer and they eat everything! So have to cage all my plants. Look forward to doing this this spring.

These are fantastic! And now I just need an army of them to accommodate and protect the amount of plants that I keep in my regular sized garden. And because plants grow, they can as well. You can stack and attach them to each other to create larger boxes big enough to protect larger and/or growing plants. They are made strong enough for their intended purpose, but care should be used, as enough force can/will bend and distort the shape. Which will alter the integrity of the shape and purpose. An excellent product that serves its purpose well. Giving the success of my garden a better chance.

Not sure why someone thought they would get 5 sets of the total package. If you have 5 small plants you can make 5 cubes to protect them. I am using these as a temporary wall to block off access to my tiny backyard. The feral cats in the neighborhood have been using the newly created rock area as a bathroom because it has sand in it. So needed a solution to keep them out. I was able to make a fence two panels high and about eight wide to make it more difficult for them to access. Also added some taller plastic chicken fencing until I can come up with something more permanent. Very versatile set and hope that it's as outdoor rated as the manufacturer says it is.

I ordered these to protect my potted plants from my mischievous cat. Just to bug me, she likes to jump into my pots and lay on top of the plants. She's killed a few plants this way! For a few years, I've been looking for a way to protect my plants that is also attractive. These cages are perfect! You can build them as large as you want by simply connecting several different cages together. I'll also use these to make little greenhouses in the early spring to enable me to lengthen the growing season. I'll just cover the cages with clear thick plastic and it becomes a greenhouse/hothouse.
