How to sneak it past cats…
Great for my 3 cats with tartar on the teeth issues. I am NOT brushing any cat’s teeth or spending 700.00 for a cat teeth cleaning. Who ever heard of a feline dentist? They do exist and they make a lot of money-just not off me.So glad to find this product because it seems to work. The problem was getting the cats to eat it…. here’s what worked for me:Hollow out the middle of a can of Friskies (or whatever wet food your cat likes)Add 1 scoop of sea kelpAdd 1 teaspoon of Brewers yeastAdd a dash of water and mix it togetherThis one can of food is divided between 3 cats and nothing else is given until all 3 finish. For fewer cats you would add less kelp/yeast and maybe half or one quarter of a can of wet food. Cats have a stomach about the size of a ping pong ball so you only want to give them what they will eat all at once.Brewers yeast is used to hide the flavor of sea kelp in most sea kelp powders made exclusively for cats. They are made to sprinkle over dry or wet cat food. My cats wouldn’t eat any brand of sea kelp sprinkled over their food. One sniff and they’d try to bury it and then walk away. They actually seem to enjoy this kelp (with the addition Brewers yeast from home) mixed into a can of wet food. I am glad there is nothing added to this brand so I can adjust the amount of Brewers yeast to suit our needs. The cats only get wet food since the dry variety causes more plaque. They are also fed only twice daily now. They get Hills Science Diet Dental blend as a treat and supplement but only a handful of the kibble each per day. The dental kibble is the size of dog food but all 3 cats like it a lot. There’s nothing like having a vet tell you that a cat dentist is in your future to bring about a complete life style change for your kitties! All 3 have improved greatly. They have better breath, less plaque, shinier coats and have even slimmed down a bit. Free feeding was really not healthy for them.Between the sea kelp, Brewers yeast and twice daily feeding, I don’t expect to see much of that vet either. The other major change, and completely unrelated, was I started using sifting litter boxes with pine pellets (the kind used for horse stalls) from Tractor Supply. No more tracking litter throughout the house and no more dust! You may want to consider looking into that on YouTube if you have indoor cats. (Wish I’d known about it sooner.)Good luck. Hope you can avoid the kitty dentist too!

Really healthy? Maybe?
I mean it made me fart, like fart A LOT. Now I see it's for dogs and cats, is that why I'm farting or am I just unusually flatulent?

😡 SO UPSET!!!
It's only been a little over a week and about 4 times being sprinkled on her food. It took a week to figure out that it was something much worse than allergies. DO NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT

Same as other brands
I had been using another brand that was much more expensive. This is the same stuff at a much lower price. Will buy again.

SAME PRODUCT, NEW NAME!
This product was formerly Thomas Pet Sea Kelp. I wrote a review previously when it was that product.Kelp is not only good for supporting your pet's thyroid, and it's a good source of vitamins and minerals, but somehow it whitens teeth! I started giving this to my dog a couple of years ago after I found that out. My dog will be 6 years old in less than a month, and he still has beautiful white choppers. He never has bad breath. His coat is always shiny and soft. Since he's black it really stands out and people comment on his shiny coat all the time. The vet is amazed how plaque free his teeth are. I highly recommend this product. I give him one scoop a day.

Serving guide could be better
Likes : nicely sealed container, fresh and moist, no bad smells, easy to useDislike(s) : I think the servings guide could be better and by weight. As dogs are different sizes, etc. The directions state one serving = 1 scoop (1/2 teaspoon?)After researching what would be appropriate amount of kelp for my breed, American Rottweiler, 1 tablespoon is the correct serving for Him to receive proper nutritional support.Overall: I like the product and will use for now.
