I had been struggling with my hand falling asleep (mainly my pinky & ring finger) during the night. I'm a side sleeper and after doing some research, I narrowed it down to cubital tunnel syndrome. I've been sleeping with this brace at night and surprisingly, my hand hasn't fallen asleep since. I did try with and without the metal brace inserts but found it works best with them in. If you can manage to sleep without bending your elbow much, I would highly recommend trying this brace. It's easy to put on and the material is comfortable. Try it out... I was planning on making my own, but one afternoon when far from home I was experiencing a lot more unpredictable shooting pains and a larger area of "feels like a 1000 needles" being pressed into my funny bone. I didn't want to go another day with this, so I decided to hop on Amazon and see if such a brace existed. Saw the great price and that it'd be delivered in the evening before I went to bed. Best decision I have made in a long time. It's been several days now and my elbows are feeling so much better. Even after the first night I could feel that it worked. Only two spells of pain that day, one the day after, and over the last two days, nothing. FWIW, I bought two. It's a little tricky getting them on and wearing them when not in bed, but when in bed I find I don't turn onto my stomach as much and I no longer wake up with an arm tucked under my body.

Does the trick in keeping arm in a decent neutral position throughout the night . Have to tighten it once or twice throughout the night or else it will slip down the arm . I also use it for working out to help protect strained ligament in arm , which I have found affective . I remove the splints before working out. Due to my arm gaining size during work outs it stays tight . Not blown away by the product but it does what it’s supposed to do . Recommend buying two as you’ll want to wash them often .
