This Cling, no adhesive, White Frosted was easy to apply to the windows. The only way I could separate the backing was to lightly score a corner to peel. Otherwise, I would still be trying to separate with my nails ... an impossibility after 30 minutes.In hindsight, I should have ordered clear Frosted. After I applied, stepped back to view my work, it looked like white paper on the windows. It may be a good thing as the sun hits those two sides. It does allow light in and 0 visibility trying to look through it.It only covered two coop windows and one side window. If I were going to cover all the coop windows, I would need to order two rolls. I applied the film on the inside, not outside, and screwed it in. It did not rip.Since the windows are single pane, at this time, I have no idea how it will hold up in direct sunlight. The cost and ease of applying this film makes this a none issue if it has to be done yearly.Tools. I couldn't locate my film application kit. I used scissors to cut, an old credit card to removed the bubbles, a hose to wet, and a straight razor blade to trim off the excess after attaching each window.Overall, for what I was using this product for, I am very pleased.

We have floor to ceiling windows in two of the front rooms in our house. We also have dogs. One that barks at everything that moves out front. We were desperate for anything that would help with blocking the windows. We have window blinds but can't pull them down all the way because our dog has destroyed two sets already from pulling at the blinds to see out the window. After reading the reviews for this product, we decided to try it. The price is very reasonable so if it doesn't work, we're not out a ton of money. I love that there is no adhesive to deal with. Taking it on and off and reusing it is super easy. It was very easy to install, and I had no trouble getting the bubbles out. It completely blocks the view to the front yard and you cannot see in from the outside. I only did our bottom section because we wanted then top part to be visible. But I accidently ordered the wrong size, so it doesn't completely cover the bottom window, but that's okay. I will add to my review later once I see how well it helped our dog issue.

I bought the white 35.4” x 118.1” film for the lower half of our bathroom window on the first floor because from the backyard deck, it was easy to see if someone was using (and definitely when they were sitting on) the toilet and I wanted to eliminate that bit of (potential) awkwardness. It worked perfectly and thus far has lasted three years from when I first bought it in November 2020 (for $30) and does not show any signs of slowing down! The film is…Personal pros:-Thin while being easy to cut. I simply measured the perimeter of the glass, ordered the closest approximate size, and cut to fit using an X-acto knife.-Easy to apply. I cleaned the window using water and a pinch of Ajax dish soap, rinsed and dried it, then lightly sprayed water on the film and applied it to the window. I then used a squeegee to iron out the bubbles and it has remained perfectly stuck on the window to this day!-The color and meager amount of sunlight blocked ensures privacy and lets in enough sunlight while keeping the window operational and stylish. Now it is still easy to tell when someone is in the bathroom since light still shines through the window, but it is more difficult to tell what they are doing.Personal cons:-I would hesitate to buy it again at the $60 price point it currently holds, but it is easy to imagine that its popularity alone boosted it that high in just three years.Overall I highly recommend this film. It was easy to measure, cut, clean and apply, it provides an adequate level of privacy while letting in plenty of sunlight, and has endured to the point where it still perfectly clings to my window three years after I first applied it. While $60 for the same film might give you pause, I would still recommend giving it some thought. This white privacy film from Coavas gets an easy 4/5!

I got the “Pure” version of this film. From the inside (first two photos), you can see that the film has a pretty good blurring effect for objects that are closer to the window anda stronger effect on things that are further away. The window in the front door has some textured and some plain glass areas but because there isn’t anything particularly close to it, you can see that the blurring effect looks stronger on it than on the porch window. The film looks decent from the outside (last two photos) as well, and the reflection in the outer pane of glass makes it harder to see in than out. I have also bought the white version of this in the past and I appreciate how this color lets in more light while still providing a good amount of privacy. Relatively easy to apply, though I do recommend using a kit with a cutting tool so you don’t have to be measuring the window and trying to cut the film to exactly the right size with straight lines.

Used this to create privacy in a bathroom door. Works well, easy to apply (you must follow the instructions), lets in light but still creates privacy. (See before/after photos) The roll was smaller than I expected but described properly

We needed something to put in our bathroom window (which was in the shower/tub!) and we didn't want to put a shower curtain on it because we thought it would feel claustrophobic. We are SO Happy we bought this! It works perfectly and was really easy to install! We just used a spray bottle we had laying around and a card - nothing fancy about it! We've tested if we could pull up the edges and it seems like it will be easy breezy! So renter friendly, which is always a plus!!

Easy to install and it isn’t permanent. Easy to remove.

Very good for privacy, you can't see anything through this at all but I can't give 5 stars only because it came damaged.

Chose this because of the great reviews. But it was a horrible experience. Firstly, I just couldn't separate the film from the sheet at the edge. Gave up after 10 minutes and called the Mrs. with longer nails. It was quite a struggle for her too. When we finally managed to, the protective sheet just couldn't peel off properly, tearing in multiple places after which it was impossible to remove the sheet. Tried 3 times. Had the same problem. In the end, my patience just gave away and I ended up dumping it in the bin. I'm surprised to see so many customers had it so easy. It was a real struggle for me and the Mrs. who tried too after I gave up. She called it quits after the second try. Defective/Fake product?

The product is good but to do a large panel of glass you really need the skills to do it and to cut the size so you don’t mess up the job. unfortunately for us, nope it did not work out. We hired a professional to do the three panels of glass we had and paid less than we paid for these items on Amazon.
