This is the best paint set I've ever used. The fact that I finally had the opportunity to afford these made me so happy. If you love painting miniatures, you have GOT to try this set

Painting large quantities of miniatures has become quite fast with the way the paint evenly distributes and without the need for a second coat. I realized that one of slightly off-black colors show on the box was not included in the paints that I received. I reached out to Army Painter's support and they shipped the missing bottle within a few days of being notified. I would recommend these paints for anyone new to painting. The included bottle of medium thinner allows you to dull down colors and even create washes for more advanced techniques of shading. The price is relatively higher for these paints but it is definitely worth it in my many years of painting. My only regret is not purchasing finer quality paints sooner.

I love that this set has so many color options and makes painting d&d minis even better. Speed paint allows me to get my minis painted quicker while also giving more dimension and depth to the minis too. Definitely a great buy. Plus, I feel like the bottle sizes are worth it because they last quite a while for how they perform and amount of product. It doesn’t take a ton to get the job done.

I haven't painted in years and I was never any good at it to begin with. No one taught me anything and I didn't understand how to mix colors, apply them, achieve certain results, etc..Speed Paints have changed all of that for me. I can achieve results I never thought possible, while barely doing anything but applying color.If you're new to painting but want to see good results to keep yourself motivated, get Speed Paints. You won't regret it!

The Army Painter has provided a beautiful selection of colors in this product with my personal favorites being the metallics. Every color applies easily and when working on 5 to 10 models dries in time for the next color. Every color used in the photos above are from this set specifically and are not damaged or reactivated by washes. The metalic portions were washed with Nolin oil and the armored rebreathers were washed with agerax earth shade. You can also dry brush fine on these paints. Overall the time it would have taken me to achieve the same result was halved allowing me to spend more time working on other projects. Great for people who have allot of models that need to be table top ready is a short period of time.I will say with these paints being neat is a bit more important then standard acrylics.

I was not sold on these paints at first, but after my first session with them I was impressed.

Great stuff. Start with light colors first

You can paint with this product alone but it's best to use a base paint layer.
