Bionic Grand Finale
Bionic Ever After is the third, and last to date, reunion TV movie of the Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman. This movie is by far the best of the three and in fact is possibly one of the best bionic episodes of the original series. The Six Million-Dollar Man was a science Fiction series from the 1970s. It had been based on a book called Cyborg by Martin Caidin. The story concerned Steve Austin who after a terrible crash while testing a new aircraft is rebuilt with bionic technology. He had to come to terms with an artificial arm; eye and both legs that gave him super human abilities that he then used to fight crime. The Bionic Woman was a spin off series that gave bionics to Steve Austin's old flame Jamie. The romance between them was one feature in the many episodes of both series. Both series ended in 1978. A reunion TV movie was made ten years later and a further reunion movie was made in 1989. That movie was called Bionic Showdown but wasn't so good. This film is excellent in every way. The pace of the film is just right. The script is strong and the production and direction are all very good. Both Lindsay Wagner and Lee Majors are very good and get much better starring roles in this film. It actually feels like they are the stars. (Unlike in Bionic Showdown,) The story is good too and it gradually builds to a good conclusion. I will not give away much of the plot or the ending but I can say that Steve and Jamie come out of retirement for one final mission as they fight not only the bad guys but possible lethal Bionic illness. And at the same time they are about to marry. Will they get the bad guys? And do they get married? All I will say is that the ending is excellent and serves as a grand finale to all of the original bionic series. This is a great release and is highly recommended to anyone who liked the original series.

Finally -- they tie the "Bionic" knot!
After all these years, our off-and-on bionic lovebirds FINALLY make a bionic dash for the altar in "Bionic Ever After?" This is a very nice, fitting, romantic bionic swan-song to the bionic saga (as for the 21st-century "Bionic Woman" -- that's another story.) This one, unlike "Bionic Showdown", shows that the nice girl (this time, in the form of Jaime's patient) cannot always be trusted -- a refreshing, presently seldom-used spin on villainy. Also, look for two classic conventions in film and TV that highlight the ending -- one unaltered, the other, a weird twist. But I leave it for you to find out what they are! And I leave it for you, good bionic DVD viewer, to look and see whether or not The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman get to live ... Bionic Ever After?

The last go around.
Love the original run ...I'd never seen the later TV movies and reading the glowing reviews I thought i'd give them a spin. This is the final one and was aired in 94.Well I thought it was just okay overall, it is nice and quite touching to see Majors and co reprise their rolesBut in the end the story is quite average.Lack of bionic action imo although i did enjoy the last 10 mins when we see Steve run and catch a van and do a few bionic jumps. The picture quality is excellent and there are no extras on the disc.I'm glad to have seen the film, i'd possibly rewatch it again at some point.I'd rate this film at a ...5/10Thank you!

NOSTALGIA ONLY
I bought this for nostalgia as I was an avid viewer when the original series was shown and wanted to see them both together again. Unfortunatley the storyline doesn't help make this an exciting watch. Yes it brought back both bionic charactors but there isn't much bionic action until close to the end then its over in a few minutes. Those who are avid bionics won't stop them from buying this. Just enjoy the memories.

Bionic Ever After
Liked especially the last scene where Steve is so anxious to say "I Do" that he did not wait for the padre to read the nuptials and started kissing Jamie and did not stop until the priest completed saying what he was there for.Its good to see all the main actors, Lee Majors, Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson, Martin Brooks and a Lee Majors look-alike, Lee Majors II

Disappointing
Loved the show as a kid, should have left it as a good memory. This TV movie is well past it’s sell-by date, in all respects.

final outing for the most famous bionic couple
Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers are about to get married. However Jaime becomes ill and it is feared that her bionics are failing. What is responsible? Steve is sent to the bahamas to find out who has stolen an atomic missile. A gripping movie with an excellent plot and just a hint of ''who dunnit'' aswell as a great finale.
