I actually could not get them off the first and second day after the initial placement. After about 5 days they finally came off during brushing. I'm sure that if you really tried you could get them off before that amount of time. That's how it went down. I didn't try too hard, but I used to toothpick to try to scrape it off and it would not come off. So I just waited it out and it came up with brushing.
