Cleans lines with a splash of color. Very nice. :-)
Needed to replace the drapery that came with the house. Wanted something low maintenance and inexpensive, but that still looked sleek and stylish and wasn't overly bland. These Stylemaster Soho panels fit the bill. (I posted a pic.) Hung in my office with its dark blue wall, the cobalt of the curtain goes very well with the blues already present in the room. Allows for light, versatility, yet pizazz with its band of color. The sheer panel is chintzy when you hold it to look at it; not a fine weave, but when you let the curtain hang and step back, you can't even tell. It's 100% polyester & machine washable (cold). Perfect.I also wanted something that had its "hangers" built in without a dust-collecting ruffle. Again, bill fits. :-)I'm so happy with how they look that I promptly ordered 5 more panels (longer length, 84") with the Espresso trim for the living room and 4 more cobalt panels (longer length, 84") for the dining room. Be sure to measure the length of your window from where you plan to hang the curtain! (Noticed a previous reviewer blamed the panel itself by giving it a bad review due to what appeared to be a measuring error.)My only complaint is that I wish this style came in a shorter length, approximately 32". Oh well. I'll keep an eye out. (Google!)****EDIT TO ADD 9-11-12****Espresso 55 x 84 panels arrived today. Hung up and took a pic (see gallery). As I said before, very sleek and clean look with color to not overly neutralize one's space.Oh, and that Google thing I mentioned above? Didn't find the panels in a shorter than 63" length, but did find them at higher prices elsewhere. Amazon has the best deal at the date of this review.

Stylish, Light-filtering Panels - Loved the Satin-like Purple Edging!
I love the satin-like edge. The purple edging is wider than it looks in the picture. The top purple edging is almost 6" wide and the edging around the other three sides is 2". This purple fabric is sturdier than the white part - although that may just be because it is a double layer. The white fabric is woven of light weight material which is moderately sheer. I wouldn't call them true "sheers" because I've had other white sheers that were much more transparent than these. However, they are definitely not going to provide privacy - just light-filtering. Because of their fabric weight, they are a little on the stiff side right out of the package. Perhaps this would change with a washing or even a light steam treatment from your iron. I hung them up and thought they looked fine, but I've seen other reviews that thought they hung too stiffly. Depends on your preference.Color-wise - the amethyst is a deep rich true purple. The white material is not a bright white, but slightly off white. However, when the sun shines through it, it just looks white. I would described the color of the top grommets as burnished copper or bronze-- but the "burnished" effect is more prominent than any metal color underneath. They are not shiny at all. (Inside grommet diameter is 1.5 inches.I really liked these curtains and hung them in my daughter's room. Ended up sending them back because she decided she wanted blue instead. Otherwise I would've kept them!

Love these stylemaster panels!
After my Mom ordered several of the Stylemaster Tribeca 56 by 63-Inch Faux Silk Grommet Panels in white for her living room, I decided to order Mandarin panels for my kitchen and Turquoise panels for my library. However, in the library I found I needed more light than even the faux silk panels could provide, so I decided to put a sheer in between the two solid panels. Matching colors can be a nightmare, though. While surfing I noted that Stylemaster also sold these white, color trimmed panels. I decided to take a chance that the faux silks were the same color. Happily, they are!I ordered the turquoise trimmed panel and it matches the turquoise panel exactly. The white material is very sheer and allows a lot of light into the room. The quality is excellent, and the package wrinkles came out easily with a quick ironing. Though I paid a bit more for this panel than the solid panel, I still feel it is a good value for the money. Highly recommended! Stylemaster Tribeca 56 by 63-Inch Faux Silk Grommet Panels

I want to wear these
I bought these for my third apartment, where they've been proudly hanging for almost three years. I've since recommended these to everyone else and pray they are never discontinued (although I do wish there were at least one metallic color option).1 star because they look very expensive (one example: the border goes all the way around the curtain, which makes a difference).1 star because they've held up on the windiest, wettest, and dustiest days, and still look the same as Day 1.1 star because they haven't faded at all, despite being in continuous direct sunlight.1 star because the curtain rod space (what is that called?) is actually big enough for a human-sized curtain rod.1 star because the mandarin color is gorgeous and rich. These are definitely sheer (exact same as they appear in the picture) and they only come 1 per order, so keep that in mind.

very nice
We used these to hang on 3 windows- 2 in a living room and 1 in the dining room, across the front of our house. I needed something that had a little style, but didn't overpower narrow windows. Since we have an open concept living room, dining room, den and kitchen, I also needed color, but a neutral. This really fit the bill. We don't have any overly formal spaces and we have busy curtains in the den, so these are a nice compliment. They hang well- not too puffy. I'm not a huge fan of the grommet style (would have preferred pinch pleat), but the tops still look nice enough.
