Handlebar Extension Knee Bar for SegwayminiPRO/ 2018 Edition/ 2019 Segway/Segway S.

A little pricey, but a solid built handlebar. Matches up well with my 2018 Segway Minipro. Perfect alignment for screws. Watched the you tube video mentioned in the description and it was easy to install. Hardest part is getting off the red cap on the actual Segway. After removing the two hex screws, I used a rubber mallet and hit it from side to side then pulled it off. Just takes a few minutes and patience as it’s on so tight.The handlebar makes it so much easier to ride and less strain now on the ankles. So much fun and feels more stable now. The cell phone holder will break off easily if the Segway tips over, but it’s a nice holder. You have to be more careful with the handlebar attached as the weight makes it tip over easier. I didn’t think about it the first time I rode and the handlebar tipped it over and the cell phone holder popped off. No biggie. Overall I highly recommend. Wish it had come with this to begin with.

This bar is very well made. I did take a small file and cleaned up any small burrs on the plastic so the bar would go in easily. Also do same the where the bar attaches to the Segway. A little WD40 on these parts will make the sliding adjustment work better and allow for easier removal if you want to take it off. I definitely give this 5 stars and feel that it's a must have. The grips are very nice and comfortable. The phone holder looks good and works very well too. No complaints or issues. I have bought 2 of these. The Segway will not balance by itself if you let go of it while parked. The app adjustment helps only a little. This is not an issue at all.

Ordered this for my wife because she is too unstable on the minipro and doesn't like using it. This bar adds a great mount of stability when mounting, unmounting, and riding, allowing you to use your upper body to control rather then your knees. After installing i let my wife give it a try, she made it 10', clipped a tire on a door way and it tossed her off. Came to the conclusion she is too clumsy to ride a segway and will get her a ebike insteadRemoving one star because it makes an already goofy looking device look even more goofy ;)

No dislikes! They work great! Sometimes they get lose and need to be tightened up a bit. The phone holder could be a bit better but it works ok. Have a tendency to keep my thumbs on it for security tho. All in all I would recommend them if you are getting a Ninebot!

Arrived this morning and unboxed it to install but looks like a few holes are missing? Isn't the triangle silver steel part with red plastic thingy, supposed to have holes too so that I can attach a base (black steel part with 4 holes)? I tried to take pictures of the inside of the silver shaft to show that there are no holes drilled to secure it with base..argh..so frustrating. Took picture of the entire handle extended but didn't find those damn holes.. returning this damaged/incomplete product. P.S. there's a flash drive in the box. Does it have any instructional videos? Or is it just a gift? No wanna open it as I'm returning the product.

This product made my Segway much easier, and safer to ride. I noticed that some of the negative comments about the product were related to the difficulty of removing the original (knee steering) part.Please note, if it difficult to remove the original part, one can go to a hardware store and purchase a faucet handle puller (only $10:00). This worked well. I tried, without success, to remove the original part without the puller. The original part would not budge. With the faucet handle puller, it came off effortlessly.

The Good: Handlebar is made of decent quality materials.Makes riding my mini SOOOO much easier.The Bad: One hand grip loosened up after a few usesI would not trust the phone holder.

For younger kids or beginners, this is the perfect add-on to make learning easy. It makes the ride feels safe and secure. If you are skeptical about riding the Segway then get this accessory. My wife and younger kids were initially scared of riding the Segway but once this handle was installed, everyone learned quickly and immensely enjoyed the ride.
