Size Name:160 x 220cm This specialist gripper underlay for hard floors from Rugs and Stuff offers a simple, effective and convenient anti-slip solution for preventing rugs from slipping and moving on most hard floor types, including laminates, wood and tiles. * It offers an excellent level of grip * Machine-washable (40 degrees) for easy cleaning and to restore functionality * Protects rugs, allows air to circulate & enhances comfort underfoot * Reusable, move the rug as often as you like! * Suitable for use with under floor heating This anti-slip underlay can be re-used again and again. Your underlay should be around 5-10cm narrower than the length and width of your rug so that it works close to the edge but does not show. Not effective if placed on carpets. Not suitable for use on LVT flooring. For larger rugs, use 2 or more pieces next to each other. No taping is necessary. The underlay can be easily trimmed to size using scissors. Please note that the 200x300cm and the 240x320cm underlay are supplied in 2 pieces. To use, place pieces next to each other. CAUTION- If flooring is treated with water-based lacquers, allow at least 3 months full drying time before using this product - only suitable on flooring treated with solvent-free sealants or lacquers - no adhesion when wet!

Great rug gripper!
This is the best rug grip. It sticks to your floor like glue. It can be a bit hard to put down, especially if you are doing it alone. I discovered an easy method..Turn your rug over and place the grip material on the rug, then put a piece of masking tape across each corner, holding the gripper in place on back of rug. Roll up your rug, gripper outwards, then simply unroll in your chosen spot. The masking tape can stay on. It does not affect the performance.

Completely ruined my floor!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. We have had this non-slip mat down for a couple of months, it has completely disintegrated and fused itself to our floor, ruining our floor. We are scrubbing but it is not lifting and has spoiled the varnish. We will have to sand and revarnish the floor completely at expense to us. I have of course submitted a complaint and will update with Rugs & stuff's response

... sorts in the past and they have all been useless, but out of desperation i thought i would ...
I was sceptical as to whether this anti slip rug would work as i have had different sorts in the past and they have all been useless, but out of desperation i thought i would give this one a go. I am gobsmacked. I have two crazy Lurcher dogs who run around like nutters and in the past rugs would go flying across the room with them both ending in a heap at the wall. No more, no matter how much they now run, jump or skid on the rug there is no moving it. It stays in place and does not move an inch. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

No more carpet surfing.
Needed to put under two carpets on newly fitted laminate flooring! One a runner type carpet in hallway and one large carpet under and surrounding coffee table. Great that you can order different sizes. Bought the large size which came in two pieces one piece each carpet. It's a bit fiddly to handle at first. A bit fiddly to cut but that may have been my scissors rather than the underlay. I suppose it's like anything that's new and you've never had before a bit trial and error on how to handle. Once I cut to the size, recommendation of cutting slightly smaller taken into account, (not too sure why as this does mean that the edges of the carpet sometimes curl up) I wasn't too sure wether to put it on the floor and the carpet on top or put it on the carpet and try and flip it over. I ended up putting it where I wanted the carpet to go then trying to put the carpet on top by rolling carpet across. Of course with the carpet being big it was a bit of a struggle especially on my own, i kept veering off, I would suggest where possible and the carpet is big, two people to place carpet on underlay to get a precise fit. I had to keep fiddling with the carpet to get it right as this stuff does its job and doesn't budge when its on the floor. Which also means that if its not positioned exactly where you want it, it's hard to move. So yes it is exactly what I was looking for, the carpets no longer slide around on top of the laminate and I feel safe walking across them. As for cleaning well I don't think I would have the will to live if I have to move them each time I clean the floor, it will have to be a every now and then clean under the carpet. I have some left overs which I'm already thinking would go nicely under several other things like a vase on the table and coasters. Very pleased with product. Feel very safe walking over carpet.

Very grippy, but difficult to position
This is very grippy. My 30kg dog has been running over the rug and playing tug-of-war on it and it hasn't budged. With hindsight though, I wish I had bought the kind that comes in a solid sheet rather than this stuff, which is a mesh. When laying it, it's too easy to accidentally stretch the mesh diagonally, so that each square becomes a diamond shape and the outline of the underlay becomes a wobbly shape rather than a rectangle with straight sides and right-angled corners. Once the rug was on top I had to keep folding it back on itself to reposition bits of the underlay. I eventually gave up and just cut off the bits that were sticking out rather than repositioning them. Now that it's finished I'm very happy with it, but I would buy the solid stuff next time.

Really does work! On laminate flooring at least.
I laid it out on the floor where I wanted my rug to be and then carefully put the rug on top- it doesn't look like it is but it's really grippy. So make sure you line it up well and gently place it down. It works! I we'd to trim it but overall it stops my two mountain dogs sliding around when they play fight! I would Recommend and buy it again.

Perfect For Pom-Pom Rugs!
I bought this to make a pom-pom rug. It is easily cut to the size you want and the holes are large so that you can easily tie your pom-poms to it (and count the squares so that you get even spacing).I used the Clover yellow pom-pom maker (4.5 cm), but it would probably suit a smaller or larger pom-pom size too. If you are using it to do this, I would mention that the ties on the back do affect the grip of the item. I do not mind, as mine is just going under my desk to rest my feet on and keep them warm.

Our rug now doesn't move at all - excellent product!
This product is absolutely brilliant. We have a rug that slid across the wooden floor everytime the dog ran across it (which was every five minutes). Now with this product it doesn't budge at all, even when the dog (cocker spaniel) leaps from the sofa onto the rug or tears across the floor excited to greet people. The dimensions of our rug came up slightly shorter than the standard sizes, but we just ordered one size larger and cut the gripper very easily with scissors. It really is incredibly easy to cut and fit and the rug feels like it has been glued down. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.
