Reviewing: Bligli Silicone Sink Saddle, Sink Divider Mat with No Suction Cups 11.8" x 12.4" (Grey) I purchased this item more than 6 months ago. This item does nice job of protecting the sink divider. I have a typical apartment stainless steel double sink. I previously had almost the exact same item with a different brand on Amazon. It worked very well for a long time. It was a larger size that went deeper into the sink. Eventually the bottom area would not come clean, became sort blackish - especially on the unexposed sides. The old item was discontinued, so this time I got the shorter version with the Bligli brand. This one has also been doing a great job. Because it is a couple of inches higher from the sink bottom, it has stayed much cleaner at its lower sides than my previous one. It is a little less stable with a heavy pan resting on it being scrubbed, but not a problem and is a worthwhile trade of for the added cleanliness. This item has been very effective is a nicely done product.

It's flexible, no suction cups to get gummed up, and it drapes pretty well. But its made for thicker sink separators than what I have: which is a double stainless steel sink with a 1" thick separator. This saddle appears to be made for a 1.75" to 2" separator, so there's a small gap between the sides and the sink. The middle section doesn't bend to mold to a narrower one. There's nothing wrong with the product. It just doesn't perfectly fit my needs. Even so, it stays in place, and protects the surface from stainless steel lids, baking sheets, and other hard objects that I place on or against it. So its serving its purpose. Also, I can toss it in the dishwasher to clean it. I'm pretty satisfied.

Had one before I ordered this one. New one is much heavier and stays in place. Am very satisfied with this saddle.

This is a replacement for an inadequate sink saddle that didn't fit well and was stiff. I wanted one that didn't have suction cups, which are a magnet for filth and bacteria, but would stay pretty much in place; and I wanted one made of a flexible material. I looked at Amazon's selection, which is quite large. I selected this based on my criteria and the reviews. I did not go wrong. Silicone is the perfect material. It is flexible and can handle heat. This saddle fits smoothly over the divider and does its job of protecting it from scratches. I have been using it for a while now, and I am still very happy with my selection.

Pros: it fits and it protects and it doesn’t slip around. Cons: The product comes folded into a square. Consequently, the indentations in the middle of the side panels are permanent. See other reviews with pictures. Mine looks the same. I tried laying it flat on my counter with a heavy object on top in hopes it would work out the dents. It helped a little, but it still sticks out. Maybe over time it will eventually lay flat on both sides. If the seller could not fold into a square, I think it would be perfect.

The top divider is still too wide for the stainless sink. So, therefore, the suction cups don’t attach to the sides.
