Shark S2901UKCO Multifunction Lite Steam Pocket Mop (with Extra Microfibre Pockets)

I have a small kitchen with stone tiles and also a dog, so a steam mop made sense. I bought this one after doing quite a bit of research, and am not disappointed. The item and accessories feel very substantial and in no way cheap and nasty. Everything was so easy - the assembly, the filling of the tank, all a doddle and in just a few minutes. Subsequent assemblies were even quicker - it is idiot proof, and just as quick to dismantle. I just left it for 10 minutes to cool for safe handling and emptied the tank, by which time my floor was virtually dry. I just put the cloth sleeve to soak in a bit of hot water and laundry liquid for a while, then rinsed and put to dry - you get two sleeves and they feel substantial and the fastenings are good and strong. A light blinks until you switch the steam on and then its continuous and quite powerful. The first time, I went over my floor 3 or 4 times and still had lots of water left, I had marks removed that I thought were there forever. Despite the unit being very sturdily made, it is very light and has an ergonomic handle, all of which would make it suitable for people of restricted ability. I am impressed by its maneouverabilty as I have a couple of odd little nooks which the triangular head wouldn't fit into so well, the delivery was very prompt and I would order this model again based on my experience of its capabilities.

Great floor steamer, have just used it to clean tiled floors and found it very light to use with plenty of steam, have not used attachments because I only wanted it for floors, it is replacing an older shark model and seems more powerful, the only downside is the cord is not long enough as I have very large rooms so keep having to unplug to another socket around the rooms , and could have used a bag to store attachments.

This is my first steam cleaner and this weekend I used it over everything. Windows (shocked, didn't realise how filthy), tiled walls, laminate floor, tiled floor, vinyl flooring, oven, hob, microwave and bathroom. I cleaned everything I could do and used 2 liters of water in the process.The cleaner was so easy to set up, a few clicks into place and it was ready to go. Not long to wait (about 30 seconds) for it to be ready. And off I went.... the package come with a 2 microfiber pads, carpet glider, accessory hose, window squeegee, detail scrubbing brush, concentrator hose. You need to use the hose for the squeegee, brush and hose. The thing is light weight and easy to carry so it doesn't cause to much problems but after a few hours (I did 7 hours this weekend.... you get carried away on your first time) you do start to feel it and have to swap arms. Also when the dirt is coming off...shocking that it is you need to wipe clean it away.The floor cleaner is great and the head tilts side to side (it doesn't flip over, you need to take the pad off and change it....or you could use the steamer upside down).The only down side I would say is that the brush attachment is quite a large one and the bristles will soften easily over time. Could do with being a second one that is smaller and more wiry.Delivery was before estimated time, great service and best price.

1. Did not work properly. Only once, for a few minutes, did it build up a good head of steam. The rest of the time it blew out a paltry amount of steam and leaked water with that. It was my first steamer so I assumed that was correct and was unimpressed. However when it did produce the right amount of steam on one occasion, I realised that it was faulty the rest of the time and sent it back.2. When it did work I was cleaning the front of the fridge trying to get in fiddly bits around the controls, always difficult to clean. It did not do the job. Plenty of steam, the dirt stayed put, maybe it loosened it a tiny bit. Not impressed, will not help me clean. Will go back to a toothbrush. I also wanted to clean carpets but it will not do this. I shall get a carpet cleaner.3. I do not think the steamers actually do the cleaning, they just sterilise. What is it going to do with the dirt? It has to go somewhere. You have to clean as normal to get rid of the physical dirt and then you may steam to kill any germs that you may be worried about. With respect, dear people, if you clean properly in the traditional manner, there is no need to sterilise your house. It will be fine - we have an immune system to deal with this. I will not be buying a replacement steamer.

hands down the best steam mop I have ever bought. Ive had 3 steam mops and they all lasted about 8-9 months and broke down. I have a shark hoover and the quality of that made me want to purchase a shark steam mop. It is easy and light to use, the swivelling head is amazing for flipping over the other side of the cloth for different uses, I use it to steam everything from the glass cooker hob, floors, curtains, carpets and even clothes.I bought it as a genuine fan of the Shark brand. My advice when using it is don't whizz around like its a hoover, give it 1-2 second to heat the spot and then apply pressure to remove dirt. take your time and it will work wonders. The only thing I would say and its not that bad is if you don't prop it up right against a wall or in a cupboard due to its light weight (which is great) it can fall over, when it fell over I actually smiled because the swivelling head just flat on the floor, thats how flexible it is. thank you

This product is very good. Easy to assemble and use. I purchased it to help remove puppy smells and stains(pups nose leave wee patches) from living room carpet. It did remove the smells but not the stains. It is good on all my other hard floors.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der gelieferten Ware, alles macht einen neuwertigen Eindruck, das mit gelieferte Reinigungspad ist n e u , das finde ich toll, schon alleine wegen der Hygiene.Ich habe noch nicht probiert, ob das Gerät intakt ist aber nach meiner Erstbestellung eines solchen Gerätes gehe ich davon aus. Gerade heute hatte ich ein solches Gebrauchtgerät wieder im Einsatz, es ist sehr gut durchdacht und bei einer genügenden Anzahl solcher Reinignspads erreicht man sehr gute Erfolge, auf dem Laminat ebenso wie auf den Teppichen.Ich schmeiße die Hüllen für die Dampfverteilung, ich nenne sie mal Pads, dann sofort nach Gebrauch in eine 20 min. Wäsche und kann sie im Bedarfsfall nach 1600 Umdrehungen schon wieder einsetzen.Ein besonders schönes Überraschungsmoment bildet neben dem tollen Gerät ein mitgelieferter, Hand betriebener, sehr gut durchdachter Zwiebelschneider sowie eine Möhrenspiralschneidekleinsteinrichtung!NUn muss ich das Gerät erst einmal bei BEKANNT vorführen und kann mir sehr gut vorstellen, dass man es für gut befindet, vor allem wegen seiner Stabilität im Vergleich zu den so genannten Testsiegern aus der FERNSEHWERBUNG und wegen des sagenhaft günstigen Preises.Ich habe mir zur weiteren Verwendung auch Ersatzüberzüge bei Amazon, ebenfalls zum kleinen Preis bestellt und bin mit den Teilen glücklich. Es wird sich in Zukunft mein lauter Nassreiniger einer englischen Firma erübrigen können....:Man schafft es hier leise und erreicht obendrein so gut wie Keimfreiheit durch den Dampf.Übrigens sind auch Zusatzteile zum Dampfeinsatz für Fenster-oder Fliesenreinigung wie auch für Polstermöbel mit im Paket! Besser geht es wirklich nicht!

Da ich das Gerät vorab getestet habe und sehr zufrieden war, habe ich mir dieses Gerät hier bestelltLeider kann ich hier nur 3 Sterne geben, da nirgends in der Beschreibung stand, das der Netzsteckernicht für Deutschland passt. Finde ich sehr schade und wurde sofort wieder zurück geschickt!!
