This Christian Prayer and Gratitude Journal is a high quality item. Priced at just under £20 at the time of writing this review, it might seem a little expensive but it is a high quality, hard backed book with a stylish, classy cotton covering which is embossed with black detailing. The pages inside are made of thick,ivory coloured paper which is very pleasant to write upon. I use a fountain pen to write with and the paper takes the ink very well - I find it a pleasure to write upon.There are 196 pages in the journal to cover around six months and there is a ribbon page divider to help you easily find where you are up to. Each page has an affirming quote from the Bible together with sections to help you focus on what to write. It is recommended that you use the journal twice daily, once at the start of the day and once at the end. The pages are undated so you don’t need to worry about missing days and you can update the journal as and when you can/want to.Having used the journal for a short while now, I do think it has made me think more positively about my day to day life and has helped me to focus more on the good things. I also find that I am using the journal as a planner and as a tool to help me remember the tasks I have to do on any given day so it has replaced the scraps of paper I used to use to write lists of things to do. I date my entries so I can keep track of things and use it in place of a diary for certain things.Some might say that the sections on each page a little proscriptive but, you don’t need to keep to the headings especially on days when you can’t find anything to be grateful for! It does however, make you think about your situation and I find it quite calming to fill in at the end of the day and it makes me a little less anxious.Overall, I prefer using this journal to jot down my thoughts rather than a diary - the bible quotes are hopeful and I find that being directed to think about the good things in my life helps me feel less anxious. The excellent quality paper is nice to write on a the journal looks good on my bookshelf. I recommend it as a good purchase.

Love this journal. I love the discipline its teaching me to journal both morning and night, and hows its central focus is on Jesus and scripture. Reflecting on my blessings and gratitude is a great thing and I love how this journal will have all of that in it. Highly recommend, it would make a great gift.

While I wish there was a bit more space to write, I find it encourages me to focus on what’s most important, making each entry meaningful. This notebook has really good quality pages. The pages are thick, and the surface is so smooth. It feels too good to be written on.The writing space is not enough, but that’s why I got it in the first place. I got it to record things I am grateful about every day, but I only feel grateful some days. The notebook is barely used, but I will continue to use it.

I purchased this book for my mom. She is a devout Christian. I got this to help her with her Bible studies. She absolutely loves it. It’s a beautiful book. The pages are really well made. The cover is really well made and will last a while as long as you aren’t overly aggressive with your book. It’s the perfect gift for anyone you know that studies the Bible. I’m happy I got this for my mom.
