Yet AGAIN, my Fire HD 8 case has broken at the magnets! It doesn't seem to matter what the brand name is on the case (Feelgo, this time), the Fire HD 8 cases have a manufacturing problem.The connection between the magnet in the cover and the exposed magnets along the edge of the case frame holding the tablet is too powerful (probably because the magnets edges in the case frame are exposed instead of encased in plastic). After a few weeks of use the magnets in the case frame pull out completely, causing the plastic along the side that holds them in place to crack and eventually break off. Sure, you can shove the magnets back in the slots at first, even glue them in place, but eventually that plastic "wall" along the side holding them in snaps off and then the case is shot. All this happens within a few WEEKS.That's why, even though I have only had my Fire HD 8 since December 25, I am on my FIFTH CASE!!! It's ridiculous that I have to keep buying and returning various brands of HD cases (which I'm guessing they're getting from the same manufacturer since the flaw is always the same?!?) for the exact same reason (although, one I returned because it wouldn't stand up properly because the cover hinge was too inflexible and another I returned because the image color and the product color didn't match), that's still THREE cases with magnets that pulled out of the frame.The issue seems to be the fact that the magnets are exposed instead of fully encased in plastic. I bought my Fire HD7 2-3 years ago, and I bought only ONE cover for it (that looks almost identical to these breaking Fire HD 8 cases, except that the magnets are fully encased), and I never had to buy another cover. I used that same cover for 2-3 years and it's still in good shape. In fact, if my new kindle were the same size, I'd simply go back to using that old, reliable case. But I can't.So I am stuck buying and returning Fire HD 8 cases over and over at Amazon's expense because of a design flaw and/or shoddy materials and/or crappy manufacturing. A case shouldn't break after only a few weeks of use!!!

Perfect fit for my Fire HD8 2017 version. The magnetic closure catches the cover firmly.I found one peculiarity when I let my metal stylus held firmly by the magnetism of the cover's closure. It caused the Fire tablet to wake up or come on occasionally even when closed and drain the battery. Leaving the metal stylus off the cover resolved the problem and the tablet stays asleep or off. I can't fault the tablet or the case for this oddity.

Bought a new Kindle Fire HD 8 and needed a case. I love this case. It doesn’t cover the Kindle’s face at all. You have great access to all the ports and the cutouts are very precise. The Kindle fits nice and snugly in the case. The sleep/wake function works well. The case is thin and doesn’t add much thickness or weight to the Kindle. I highly recommend this case!

Bought three of these cases a month ago....All got damaged pretty quickly....the part which holds the magnets broke off. However magnets fell off even before it broke.

It works for what I need it for that's all that matters.

Case doesn't stand well.. Needs lots of support and adjusting. More trouble than is worth.

Fits great on my Fire HD 8. Love the fact that when i close the case it puts my kindle to sleep.Have used it for a few months now and not showing any wear.
