I like it a lot for my Warhammer and Blood Bowl figures. Goes on nice and even. Review: Frosting - Do not use unless you want to ruin the colors on your work and cover them in frost. I was very disappointed after I spent hours painting my figures only to finally reach the final step of covering them with some clear coat for protection. Unfortunately this changed all of the colors and covered the labels that I had put on them with frost and they are now unrecognizable. I shook the can adequately and started with a very thin first coat and never made it any further after what I saw the results. Is it water resistant?** A: Yes. But, the primary use of this product is to protect the (usually) acrylic paint on a miniature from abrasion and handling. Water proofing isn’t generally a concern. If you are not intending to use this on gaming pieces, there is probably a better product for your specific use. **Q: are certain types of masks required while using this product?** A: When priming or varnishing anything you probably should wear a mask just to protect yourself, I only use one if I am spraying a lot of models otherwise I go without. I turn out having to go back over the metallics again.
