Used this product to connect my lap top to a BUS ethernet module to control it. Works a treat, great robust cable with good conections and super fast data speeds. Arrived very quickly straight through the letter box. Cheap also.... win win!

I have purchased these before and will continue to do so, why ? because the build quality is fantastic in looks and feel, the rj45 plugs are good quality too and come with protective clip on covers to protect the pins, great if passing throgh walls, i have now fully rewired my audio studio production server cabinet with these cables without any problems. My network is 10gb throughout and demands the best i can give it so these are just perfect, the shielding is spot on so no noise on audio from pc either. If you want the best for your setup just buy a small half meter one and see for yourself, you will want to update and replace your old cables guaranteed.

Expecting to find these (I ordered 3) delivered in plastic zip-loc pouches I was pleasantly surprised to find them in nice cardboard boxes. Taking a cable from a box and finding the substantial diameter of these was a second surprise. Finding protective caps on both ends was a third surprise. Awesome!So, nice to unbox, pleasant to handle. Well made connectors fit securely into the devices and hub.I didn't buy these to be pretty, I bought them to try to fix an issue where my SSH connections would occasionally hang for a few seconds before carrying on without loss. Someone suggested using old Cat5e cables on a gigabit network can cause this so here we are. Like all intermittent problems it's too early to report a solution. But it is great to easily tell these Cat8 cables at a glance from my other cables where my old eyes struggle to scan for grey writing on black cables.Pleased enough to buy another, longer, cable.Recommended!

I purchased this cable to replace a chunky cat 6 patch cable connecting my router to a 25m extension as the cat6 cable was quite kinked. Upon replacing the cable my download speed dropped from around 80-90MB/s to 900KB/s. Unfortunately the impedance of this cable appears to be worse than the patch cable it was intended to replace.For a short run I don’t see this causing any issues and for the price payed I’m certain I’ll find another purpose for this cable.

Like the stripey cable, connectors are quality 👌 White and blue contrast looks like something from Space 1999.I picked a shorter 0.5m cable length because it's only plugging into a temporary powerline adapter from the base unit until the higher rated networking cables are routed properly. I might be benefitting from jumbo frame rates from my networking adapters. This cable can certainly support this feature.Very good price, difficult to beat!
