With two enclosures out of service and another in doubt, the job may take a few days to complete, bit-by-bit.Although intended to be used as a permanent extension of existing cables to connect with an internal SATA device within a computer case and not otherwise possible, one will permit a connection from a drive unit to an independant reader, dispense with the need to dismount them and avoid losing screws. As you get two for the same price as others offered, they will be very cost-effective.

these items let me couple two sata hdd to my pc and to update the samewithout swapping them over

I wanted to copy a disk from a desktop PC but removing it to put in a disc caddy would be a bit of a pain as it was deep in the cooling system. Plug this extension into the disk and into a USB disc enclosure and Bob's your wossname! A very useful thing to keep in your 'fiddling with PCs' toolkit.

Not a tight fit but they worked

I needed an extender and this was perfect. My sata connector for my old Mac Pro doesn't like the "power only" extenders as they don't fit very well even after cutting off a notch on the extender i trie ld beforr. This one has both power and data lines (like what you'd fine on the connector on a hard drive) so this fits perfectly!

Works fantastic as dual combo convertor for Mac-Pro tower SATA NVMe SSD connection & powered a UBS pcie adaptor requiring a separate power point.
