Doesn’t spill
Our 2 Guinea pigs were constantly tipping their bowl of pellets over then squeaking for more food. Finally bought this and they haven’t tipped it over yet! It’s a hard plastic so there isn’t a suction but with the fluff we use for their cage it wouldn’t make a difference. It’s shallow but holds enough for them to nibble from all day. Love it!

Definitely "tip-proof"
I bought this thinking that it was silicone rubber and soft but it's a hard plastic. My fault for not reading the details better. I was hoping that it would "stick" to the carpet so that my cat couldn't move it when going to take a drink. He has a habit of moving the bowl before drinking and in doing so he spills a lot of the water. Unfortunately, because this is hard plastic, it actually moves better then the ceramic one he has now and doesn't suit the purpose I wanted it for so I returned it. I can say that it definitely is "tip-proof", it would be very hard for an animal to tip this over without hooking a nail or tooth underneath and flipping it over.

To big
Bought for rabbit who is a digger. He tipsOver his bowls and wastes the pellets. This bowl was way to big for his setup and we couldn’t use. Won’t tip though, but my rabbit just dug at the food and scooped the food over the sides instead. So we didn’t use it. Instead used a 3” tall porcelain crock and 3D printed a ring and hanger to clip to the side of his box so he can’t tip it over.

Almost tip proof, excellent for guinea pigs
The verdict: they ARE tip proof for the guinea pigs, but not the bunny. The bunny manages to flip and fling these in the air.Absolutely perfect for guinea pigs though, the low edges don’t push on their little throats, looks much more comfortable for them to use than a crock, and the guineas can’t knock it over.

Cheapest option to stop water dumping!
I have a pet pig. Like all pigs he turns over dishes. I could not find a weighted bowl low enough for him to be able to drink from, so tried this. When on the flat floor, it takes a while to flip. Although he did flip it a couple weeks after using, he does not try to like other bowls. For mini pig owners, my husband is planning on taking a wood board, thin like a plywood, and cutting a hole in the center the size of the bowl to prevent flipping. Since there is a large part on the floor, you are able to do this.

Solid, safe from chewing
My little one was confused this morning, the older one seemed to be looking as though he was laughing. Food not turned over now huh youngster?! Was the look. The younger runs about looking confused as to why he can’t flip His cereal bowl over. Lol Feeding time was fun this morning watching that. The 2 guinea pigs mulled over what this new object was and the older wiser one really did seem to be smiling that his food wouldn’t be in the bedding anymore. It’s easy to clean and works if you sub plant it below bedding. Worth every penny!

Great Rat Food Bowl!
I bought two of these for my little ratties, and they work great! I haven't seen them tipped over yet, and they seem very stable. The green ones at the 3/4 cup size work well for my 4 male rats. One bowl has their mazuri rat blocks in it, and the other is where I put fresh fruits and veggies, and sometimes seeds and nuts for them. They are easy to clean, I just wash them in a 50/50 water white vinegar solution and rinse well with warm water. They are a little expensive, but worth it. Two paws up!

Saves money and keeps the cage cleaner
This bowl is perfect for my guinea pig. He was always tipping over his previous bowl and wasting so much food.He did manage to tip this one once, but once I covered the bottom part with the wood chips, he wasn't able to.This has saved me a ton of money on guinea pig food, and has kept his cage much cleaner.

Chronic bowl flipper no more!
My one guinea pig out of 4 is the chronic bowl flipper of the herd. We timed it. 20 seconds it takes for her to hear the bowl be filled, and then for her to lumber over and flip the pellets everywhere. Not anymore! We've had it for weeks, and it has not spilled yet. I've even seen her try to claw at it. It's not going anywhere. Not until she figures out how to get underneath it to flip it, but so far so good!

Too lightweight to be anti-tip
Misrepresented. We bought this for two small rabbits who proved immediately adept at picking it up &/or tipping it over.

The Guinea Pigs can't tip it!
This bowl is a great idea! The Guinea Pigs can't tip it so there is less food loss because it doesn't end up on the cage bottom where the boys won't eat it! My only suggestion would be to make one just slightly deeper because I need to have the space to add 2 servings of veggies.

It's ok
Works. But my guinea pigs pee in it and kick poop into it. Sigh.
