The Genuine Handmade Irish Shillelagh

Nylon bag? Mine arrived covered in tape that left its adhesive all over the stick. The handle is really small, but okay...comfortable. But, not knobby like I generally prefer (serves me right ordering something like this from Amazon, this really is something you need to have a hand on before buying). Will I use it? Sure. If I forget my blackhorne handled walking stick in the office. If it had been even remotely a similar handle, I could add a star. If it had included the promised bag? Another if it had not been plastered in packing tape whose adhesive will take me an hour to rub off? Another star. See how quickly it can go from a five to a two? I really should knock another half off for not including a rubber tip for the walks on concrete, and the fact that the copper tip doesn’t cover the bottom of the wood. But, no rubber tip was promised...unlike the nylon bag ;). Truth in advertising would hav been nice :).Well, I just looked more closely at the finish. The handle has huge drips and looks like it was finished by a drunk three year old. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY unless you are planning on refinishing it.The paint was ALSO removed by the wonderful tape these con artists used.

Just as described, the only thing that would improve on it is the copper cap at the bottom needs to be clear coated to prevent oxidation and a rubber tip needs to be added that way it doesn't slip on tile or some polished floor or so it doesn't scratch hard wood flooring. As for durability I say top notch, I'm 270 pounds and it held my weight when I purposely leaned on it and put my weight into it no flex what so ever.

The cane is Excellent. But I already had the upright knob which was sent. The picture looks nothing like the cane. \

Doesn’t look anything like the picture. I am a bit disappointed. I should have chose the other store I think.

This is a very poorly finished cane I would not recommend it to anyone unless you are a K maker and prepared to refinish the Finish was awful for the price it is not worth it I make canes and this cane should not sell for more than $15

It was exactly as it was described, my husband loved it (he doesn't want to use a cane) and this fit the bill.Thank you.

This product did not look like photo. Shaft was cracked and appeared like reinforced mending tape was used and painted over to hide the the damage. Cane was too short for anyone over 5' 8"" Or so. I bought another stick from another supplier and it is awesome.

just what i expected. i'm very happy with my shillelagh.
