Check Ingredients
Please check the ingredients before starting this product. It was easy to use and has a good taste but I started to have some issues within a week or so. I noticed it is high in iron and I think that is what is causing issues with me. My husband starting to use it so it did not go to waste and has not had any issues. He has an iron stomach. Just check the ingredients before you start, especially if you are sensitive to to some ingredients.

Feel great and healthy!
I was concerned after reading the review above regarding iodine. I’ve been using this shake for a year now and have felt great, really noticing a difference. I went to mercola and purchased an iodine test, and followed the testing procedure. My iodine results were fine. Everyone’s body chemistry is different, I’m glad I can still use, as I have been very rarely ill since I started drinking it.

Not Good For Hashimoto's Disease
First let me say, I initially loved this powder. I loved the taste and I started noticing a difference and feeling better just after a few weeks of drinking it every morning. However, after about a month of daily usage, I started feeling the sensations that usually only happen when my thyroid medication is changed or increased too much--shaky, heart palpitations, jittery and hair loss. Having Hashimoto's Disease (autoimmune thyroid disease) I am extremely sensitive to iodine. I don't know how much iodine is in this product because it does not say but I do know algae is high in iodine. I wish they put the iodine content on the labeling. In conclusion, I really wanted this product to work for me but I don't think it's safe for people with Hashimoto's Disease.

Could cause problems
I didn't buy this on Amazon but I bought it from the body ecology website and they will not post my review. I rarely write negative reviews for companies unless it's serious. I have been eating this for about 6 months, I actually love the taste even though I know some people do not. I am really disappointed. In the last few weeks I noticed not feeling right, my hair stopped growing and more was shedding than normal. I was having trouble sleeping as well which is unheard of for me. I remembered reading a review on here that the person found out her iodine levels were high after eating this a while. I don't take iodine supplements either. I got my throid tested and it was producing too much hormone. Called hyperthyroidism. I stopped the protein powder immediately and within a week my hair came back to life and my sleep returned to normal. I am told by my doctor to wait a month before testing the thyroid again. If the levels are normal again in a month I highly will suspect this stuff was the cause. I also do not like the fact that there are sugar alcohols used. Some people on here review the sweetener they sell on this site, which is also in this product as"healthy". It's far from healthy, an over processed form of corn turned into an alcohol sugar. You are better off eating coconut sugar, raw honey or maple syrup (organic) in small amounts. In addition to that there is monk fruit in the sweetener which is grown in China. I honestly don't trust anything that is food that comes from China, organic or not. Then the fruit is highly processed into the sweetener that is created. Highly processed is never good. The farther a substance is from it's original composition the less healthy. I really actually loved this stuff and over looked the facts about the sweetener in it, but the iodine issue obviously made me stop eating it. One more issue I have is that in the ingredients it says organic flavors. Doesn't tell you what is actually in the flavoring. I am disappointed in body ecology for not being transparent about their ingredients. If you are proud of what you are putting into your product then you should label with clear precise ingredients. Or just add real vanilla bean to the product and then it can be labeled properly without having to hide anything. Also too much salt content, it's high in sodium. On a positive note I love their cocobiotic drink and greens powder.Update: my thyroid returned to normal a month after stopping this powder and testing it again. I also was told that my iron levels were high when I got the se blood work back with my thyroid iof balance but since I wasn't taking iron I didn't think anything of it until I noticed another review saying their iron levels were high. This is dangerous for people. It could cause serious health problems after long term use. I told the company about the thyroid issue and my concern of the algal flour being to high in these minerals for daily use. They didn't do anything about it over a year later.

Delicious but some problems
This product is really delicious! I had tried it a couple of years ago and after using it every day for a few months, my iron levels were sky high and so I stopped using it, thinking that might be the culprit. Now I have decided to try it again since it was so good! I do see now from reading the reviews that other people have had this issue of high iron levels with this product. So decided to forego on this product. So be careful if you have high iron levels as that is not good at all.

Delicious, no bloat afterwards, feel great
This was the best protein powder I have ever had. Used to own a health store and would always try products before choosing to sell them. It’s a bit pricey, but the probiotics do help the immune system and gut health. Lots of energy. It is definitely worth I try.

Mixes Well, Unusual Flavor
I decided to try this product because I liked the idea of combining probiotics and other nutrients with protein powder. For my first test, I mixed the powder with cold water using a shaker. It dissolved well, but the texture was grainy, and I didn’t enjoy the flavor. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t palatable for me either.Next, I added a little dairy milk—I’m not vegan—hoping to improve the taste. While it did help slightly, it also introduced a chalky quality. The following day, I blended the powder in my Nutribullet with bananas, cocoa powder, water, and ice cubes. The taste was still somewhat unusual but not overpowering. However, I noticed a slightly bitter aftertaste, which may be due to the Lakanto monk fruit sweetener or other ingredients. On the third day, I tried stirring it into my oatmeal, along with fruit. I still am not fond of the flavor, but it did mix well.I've noticed that the protein mix is quite filling, so it could be a good option for those of us who want to cut down on extra calories.I’ll continue using this by mixing it with other foods, but because of the flavor, I wouldn’t purchase it again.
