I purchased this mattress for a truck bed camper build as it was the perfect length to fit in a short bed truck. I was skeptical about whether it would be thick enough to provide adequate cushion of the boney prominences of the body (i.e. hips, sacrum, shoulders, etc.). I was pleasantly surprised that this mattress exceeded my expectations by providing exceptional comfort and support. After unpacking, the mattress I let it sit per instructions and it did inflate to the advertised 3 inches. The mattress has a removable cover which has an anti-slip backing on it. The anti-slip backing does great at ensuring the mattress doesn't slide around on the sleeping platform. When not in use the mattress can be rolled and stowed in the included storage bag. The bag appears well made (no hanging threads) with a PVC coated liner for protections against liquids. The bag opening is large enough where you don't have to struggle to get the mattress into the bag.

Bought this for camping at Medieval Re-enactor events to place on top of a cot. This mattress pad is a bit big and unwiedly. Its super comfortable to sleep on but getting it back compressed down is no easy feat. I bought a mattress bag thinking I could stuff this inside and then vaccum seal the mattress bag to compress it down.... it doesn't really compress. It compresses some, but not a lot. When this mattress pad is "packed down" its at least 3ft tall and 2 feet in diameter. It takes up an insane amount of space when its packed down. Not really a good candidate for camping unless you just have a lot of space to transport.Was I comfortable at night at my event? YesDid I put up a good fight trying to pack it down? YesWould I purchase this again to go camping? No.

6ft snd 225lbs guy. Used the foam mattress as an overlay with a canvas camping cot. Foam is springy and fairly lightweight, not sure I would call it a “memory foam”. But traditional memory foam would be much heavier and more bulky, so it’s fine. No sore spots for this side sleeper. Oversized bag held my large, flannel lined summer sleeping bag, as well. It would easily accommodate a pillow or light comforter. $144 seems a lot but the nifty built in cinch straps made the roll-up a dream, and I did get a great night’s sleep compared to the old air mattress.

My grandkids love these sleeping pads! They each have their own (I’ve purchased four!) and they can set up their bed and roll it and place it in the zipper bag when we need the floor space. The best part is how cushiony they are! So much better than a blow-up and so comfortable!

I’ve had it a few months now and it’s wonderfully comfortable

This mattress is a grower not a shower. It arrived in a relatively small package and seemed pretty doable. Now that it has expanded to its full potential it is HUGE even when rolled up. Not super practical for storage or camping but it is very comfy and seems nicely made.

Reason I got this pad is to use it in the back of my Jeep Gladiator for sleeping. I have a canopy on the box so great as it more confee then a RTT mattress.

I was super excited to try this out as I had been looking for a super soft and comfortable mattress for camping and it looked like it would fit the bill. My husband really liked it, however it was still too firm for me and left me with some body aches after trying it out one night. If you're looking for something more firm, this is for you! If you're like me and need to sleep on a cloud then this isn't it haha. I wish there was a larger size as well since we both barely fit on the mattress together and we are both small people.
