Great bike, good quality
The Moscow is my 2nd ebike. My first was a cheap Chinese 250w (wasn't sure if I'd like an ebike). After looking at a lot of others I decided on the Moscow as the price was decent and it comes from Germany. I've had it for over a year and am very happy with it. The frame is solid w/generous welds. It assembled easily and I've had no problems with it. It climbs hills well and can go the distance - 70 miles using only PAS 1 over paved, flat trails and dirt roads in the mountains w/moderate hills. I don't commute with it, only ride for pleasure so normally only use PAS 1 or 2. Rides well with no power, can easily change to PAS 0 when no power is needed. I also bought the rear rack/lights accessory package which work well enough and added a bar end mirror and gel seat cover.Pros: Reasonable price (bought mine at Thanksgiving on sale) 21 speeds that shift accurately 500w motor and 48v battery provides adequate power and range 6 PAS modes in ~ 2mph increments (approx. 10-20 mph) Paddle grips are comfortable Front shocks work fine unless you're off-roading a lot Tires work well on paved surface as well as on dirt/gravel It even has a bell (handy on busy trails) Excellent customer serviceCons: Would prefer a twist throttle rather than a thumb throttle Water bottle placement isn't ideal as you tend to crush it when straddling the cross bar (I'm only 5'7") Wish they had included a clock in the displayWould I buy it again? YES. Compared to my Chinese bike this is a Cadillac. Adequate power to climb hills, can easily ride a 20 mile trail and the battery only drops one bar (battery recovery is good if you take breaks and shut the battery off). I would definitely recommend the Moscow to anyone thinking about getting an ebike.

Great Bike!
I originally was going to fork over about $2,500 for a full-suspension bike then randomly saw some electric mountain bike ads. After doing a bunch of research I picked the NCM Moscow, it is just a great value. It seems to be of higher quality (they are made in Germany) than many others I saw on Amazon. Also, I found a review online that was pretty thorough in speaking about the bike. Some comments about the bike:• It didn't look that hard to put together but I used the Amazon service which worked well.• The bike has six levels of assist and a throttle.• It also has a USB port so you can charge your phone off of the battery.• The battery seems to last longer than I expected.• So you can use this manually to get exercise but having the electric capability it really opens up the distances you can go. It is also helps limit fatigue from riding up hills.• The motor itself is really quiet which is great.• The tires are Schwalbe Smart Sams which are a compromise between a trail and road tire. Someone characterized it as 70% trail. The tires do work fairly well on the road compared to pure mountain bike tires and they seem to grip well in the dirt. I was looking into swapping them out but I don't see much reason to do so.• The only negative to me is that given the battery there are not as many opportunities to attach things to the frame such as water bottle, pump, etc. I ended up getting a cargo bag that hangs off of the seat and connects to the post which also carries a water bottle and is big enough to place a small pump inside.• Lastly, you should realize that electric bikes are much heavier than conventional bikes, this one weighs more than double my mountain bike. It just changes the riding dynamics a bit. Harder to go up hills without aid, but overall a lot more fun.Overall very happy with it.Just an update, I have had the bike for several months now. It has held together well. I decided to turn it into more of a pure mountain bike and swapped out the tires for Maxxis mountain bike tires what are also wider. Also the front shock that comes with this bike is not great, it is a lower end spring shock, so I upgraded to a true air shock, a RockShox. I added a ThudBuster seat post because this is a hardtail which is a good compromise compared to paying for a full-suspension bike which can be pricey. With these changes I have taken the bike on some pretty crazy mountain trails and it has held together really well. (see second picture for changes). So overall I am happy with the bike.

Impressed
Just received our new 27.5" and 29" E Bikes and am impressed so far. Assembly was simple and had no problems with any of the components, Packaging was done well to prevent any damage.First try and was surprised with the power, be careful, as soon as you hit the pedals it wants to go...Took a little getting used to. Also be sure to stop peddling before breaking. A break cutoff control would be a nice option for these bikes. All the components appear to be excellent quality and they are impressive.

Do not buy
I bought this bike in March 2022. It ran pretty good for about a month. I didn’t use it much because it was colder our but I still used it a bit. The breaks formed a squeaky noise and didn’t really work well no matter how tight I set them too. The seller told me to go to a bike shop and have them fix the breaks and send an invoice. It was reasonable at first and then the motor started making noises. I live in a area where no one would work on this bike so they couldn’t really fix it. Well in April 2022 when I was biking the chain slipped off and got stuck in the tire and I flew right off the bike. I was all dinged up even on my face. The bike proceeds to not work at all until I take it home and plug the cords back in that unplugged from the crash. The bike was making weird noises and wouldn’t really work right. The seller told me that they couldn’t do nothing at first, and then told me they could ship me a motor and any other parts I needed to fix it. It is now the end of July and I’m still on the waiting list for the parts. I received little help/compensation from Amazon and Leon Cycle until July 27th 2022 when I was rightfully issued a full refund. If you buy this bike don’t crash it you will never see it work right again. (Side Note: I rode the bike again in June 2022 and it completely died and wouldn’t work)(Update: Never got the refund and a year later I am finally getting parts to fix it)
