Q: Will this attach to an NHS standard wheelchair?

The idea is it has a sprung loaded clip that grips the stick and a couple of soft foam pads to grip a table edge to stop it wondering off. I do not see how it would attach to a wheel chair. I found it virtually useless as it has a very strong spring and one needs tough fingers to open it and mine are a bit arthritic. The alternative is to leave it on the stick all the time but I found it caught onto things it should not.

Q: What diameter or walking stick is this designed for, i have a nhs stick which is quite big?

My stick is not an official NHS one, but it is sturdy, and this was too small for it - fell off within an hour. It fits another, flimsier, stick I have - the type whichis oftern quite pretty but thin. I'd look for a different one.

Q: How do you put the walking stick/cane holder on the walking stick. I have arthritis in my hands.

You may need help because the sheer nature of the product is its grip. Once on it is a great help Be warned that it does not fit all walking sticks, anything a bit thick may not be suitable, it is better on a slightly thinner walking stick.

I have never had a problem with the size. I only use the pretty, metal, fold up sticks, so can't say about wooden ones etc. My current stick is 1.5". Previous one slightly less. I have used this gadget for year and just wouldn't be without one. So useful. They are sometimes hard to 'click on' but they always fit mine.
