Top quality headset, you won’t be disappointed
Before settling for the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro 2023 wireless I tried the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro and Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro, both retailing for a little either side of £300, I’ve also previously owned the Steelseries Arctis 9, Astro A40, Logitech G Pro X and the older wired Blackshark V2’s, this headset is up there with the best of them. The sound profile is excellent, base is prominent whilst not overpowering, you can easily switch between standard and custom EQ’s or switch between pre-defined game EQ’s all easily changeable through a button on the headset. They’re loud enough, sound great for music and Spatial Audio for gunshots is superb, you’ll have no issue knowing where the enemy is. To get the most out of the headset it’s worth connecting them to a computer using the Synapse 3 software to enable features such as sidetone/mic monitoring and bass enhancement, along with setting your custom EQ etc. I did this then now just use them in my PS5. In terms of looks, they’re quality, granted the Steelseries Nova Pros are imo the better looking if you’re thinking of wearing them out and about for music, but in terms of an out and out gaming headset, the helicopter pilot design holds up well, especially in the white. I’d personally like to see the mic be a little more adjustable, like the turtle beach stealth pro, flick it up out the way or even better, both the Steelseries retractable mic, not that it’s bad and it is detachable. Whilst it doesn’t have a changeable battery, battery life is incredible, I’ve had several few hour long sessions without the need to charge. It does have Bluetooth, and whilst its not simultaneous with game audio like the more expensive TB and SS, a quick double tap of the function button easily switches between game and BT. In terms of comfort, it’s exceptional, full over ear design that you can play with for hours without discomfort, never seems to get too toasty. Far more comfortable than the much more expensive TB’s which have a pinch to them. As far as the mic goes it’s as good as they come, feedback from multiple fellow gamers who’ve heard me on multiple headsets all vouch for that. This is definitely a key selling feature of this headset, if voice quality is on your priority list then you’ve found what you’re looking for. Wireless range is fine, I can get to the opposite corner of my house with solid brick walls before I lose signal. In summary they sound great whether gaming or for media, comfortable, great functionality and good customisation, but remember to get the most out of them use the PC! For the money you won’t be disappointed!!

Best Headset I've Used
Bought using Amazon's "save with new" but would happily pay full price for them. Connection was easy to both Bluetooth and using the razer app (where you can use different sound profiles for games, music, movies etc.). Mic quality is excellent which is normally hard to find in Bluetooth headphones at this price range. They are very comfortable to wear and I haven't experienced any discomfort wearing them even after long periods. Sound quality is also excellent and are great for listening to all types of music. The headset build could maybe be a little more sturdy, but won't be a problem if you take care of them.

Great headset for a small price
I've had several Razer products over the decades and i've never been disappointed. My last Razer headset lasted over 10 years! my previous headset was a Corsair and only served me for 2 years (with 4 changes of it's ear pads...)This headset's build quality feels good, don't confuse the light weight as cheap, it's light for a reason. Lovely soft ear pads which fits great, they are not causing any sweaty ears even after many hours of use.The microphone i have been told is very good, smooth and clear not tinny. Here's why i give it 4 stars, the volume control on the headset will adjust Windows volume sliders when used, my old Corsair headset would only adjust it's own internal volume and not mess with Windows sliders, it's no big deal i just preferred the old way. Also, i wanted to Mic boost a little just so friends in Discord were all happy with my volume but at 100% Mic volume in both Windows and Discord and i couldn't put it any further, i tried the Synapse software which Razer offers for it's products but apparently this headset is not supported by that software... so i have no ability to Mic Boost. All in all, for under £50 i'm certainly happy, my last Razer headset was a Kraken and that cost me double this price and was no better in my opinion.

Excellent Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) Headphones
These premium wireless e-sports headphones have exceeded my expectations in every way, especially when it comes to gaming on my PS5.First and foremost, the sound quality is phenomenal. The TriForce Titanium 50 mm drivers deliver crisp, clear audio with deep bass and rich mids, making every game feel incredibly immersive. Whether I'm playing fast-paced shooters or exploring open-world adventures, the audio experience is top-notch.One of the standout features is the HyperClear Super Wideband Mic. The microphone quality is exceptional, allowing me to communicate clearly with my friends during multiplayer sessions. My voice comes through loud and clear, with no distortion or background noise, which is crucial for coordinating strategies and having fun with friends. The wireless connectivity is seamless, and I appreciate the added convenience of Bluetooth support. The connection remains stable, and I haven't experienced any lag or dropouts, even during extended gaming sessions. Speaking of extended sessions, the battery life is impressive, lasting up to 70 hours on a single charge. This means I can game for days without worrying about recharging. The build quality is also worth mentioning. The headphones feel sturdy and well-made, yet they're comfortable enough for long gaming sessions. The ear cushions are soft and provide excellent noise isolation, allowing me to stay focused on the game.Overall, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a high-quality wireless gaming headset. Its superb audio performance, excellent microphone quality, and impressive battery life make it a fantastic investment for both PC and PS5 gamers. I highly recommend these headphones to anyone serious about their gaming experience.
