These whippet coats are very well-designed and give an excellent tailored fit that looks comfortable to wear, excludes drafts and stays put during 35mph runs. The snap-popper fastenings are very good quality and thoughtfully placed to permit sufficient adjustment of the fit of the coat, they are easy to do-up and undo, but are completely secure in use. My boy whippet finds the waist strap to be perfectly positioned to avoid problems with the occasional call of nature, yet it is well placed around his middle for comfort and security. We tested the coats in very wet and cold conditions recently (Dec 22/Jan 23) and they have proved to be completely waterproof and warm. The coats are easily and quickly cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. The coats cannot be washed in a washing machine, because this would strip the wax waterproof coating, but if one is prepared to re-proof with wax-clothing wax then I see no reason why a gentle wash at moderate temperature should not be successful. I have no hesitation in highly recommending these excellent whippet coats.

This is the second coat I’ve bought my first one was when she was much smaller.This is a long review but I hope you’ll fine it useful. I love this coat because it fits sighthounds so well and is easy to put on them. It looks so smart and it’s popper fastenings are great, I find Velcro gets hair stuck in it and looses it grip.It took me ages to measure my female Lurcher as she wouldn’t stay in one place. I measured her as 25” so I went for the 26” and it’s perfect. She weighs 21 kilos and it fits well around her waist.These coats cannot be washed which I was worried about that. My last one literally got covered in mud. I saw a YouTube and all you need is a bar of hand soap, water, a small brush I used an old dish brush and clean clothes. Dip brush in water dab on the soap and scrub off the mud. Take a clean wet cloth remove excess soap and wipe with another cloth. Then leave to air dry or use a hair dryer. It came up pretty well.It’s a great coat and is priced well, I’m very happy with it.

I bought this as a warmer coat for my greyhound, it's lovely and soft inside with a waterproof and windproof outer and looks a good quality. I love the fact it has a slot on the back for his harness which is what attracted me to this coat.My only negative is it wouldn't wash but mud does brush off easily once dry.There are adjustable fasteners at the front and around the waist, it doesn't fit my greyhound perfectly but he must be an unusual shape as we've never got a coat to fit perfectly, tgis however is the closest we have got! It looks fine though, just occasionally pops open a popper at the front.Overall a good coat that I would recommend, looks good, functional, good quality.

Lovely quality and fit. Looks very cute on my girly greyhound. Keeps her dry in wet weather and is easy to put on. Should last for many years. She is 25kg for reference and the size corresponds to her measurements. Highly recommend!

My whippet actually doesn't seem to mind the rain too much, but I like to keep him warm and dry, where possible. One of the features I really like is that the jacket has poppers at the front, so it's easy to remove. My dog has a GPS tracker on his collar, which can catch on the neck when you try and take some jackets off. The belly strap also has poppers, so no velcro and it can adjust to three sizes.The jacket is very water repellent and mud will generally just brush off, when it's dry. Obviously, being waxed cotton, it's a little sticky, and it will need reproofing at some point, but I like the style, so it suits me.I've seen complaints that the front poppers come undone. Well, my dog has been out chasing a ball for an hour, running and jumping and the jacket has stayed fastened.My whippet is 21 inches from neck to tail so you can see what the 22-inch jacket looks like on him. Do check the label under the belly strap though, as the first one I ordered said 22-inch on the packet, but 20-inch on the jacket itself, and was too small

This coat fitted perfectly on my saluki girl. So well made ,easy to put on its warm and waterproof. Highly recommended.
