I Have Four of These and They Work Great
I currently have four of these B-hyve timers and have been very happy with them. They make managing multiple hose-based watering areas much easier, and I can set and adjust the schedules through the app without having to go out to each faucet. They've been reliable and have operated as programmed. One important thing to know before buying is that these require a B-hyve hub, and the hub is NOT included with this particular timer. I already had a compatible hub, so adding additional timers was easy, but if you don't already have a hub you'll need to purchase one separately to use the smart features. Having four of these running from the same system has worked very well for my watering setup. They're easy to manage, convenient, and reliable. I'd definitely buy them again.

Works like it should!
These timers are great - we have two connected to a single wi-fi hub. They are easy to setup and the app is really easy to program and use.

Utterly unreliable, terrible app design - DO NOT BUY
I've been using 6 of these for 2 years now. If you are still here, I beg you, get something different, these are extremely unreliable, and hard and annoying to program if you have more than one in the same location. My story over the 2 years: 1. They lose connection frequently, even though they have good signal and fresh batteries. When they are disconnected, they do not run the scheduled programs (i.e. the programs need to be triggered remotely, they are not on device). 2. The scheduled programs sometimes just stop running. Manual runs work fine, but scheduled programs don't. Support will tell you to reset the connection, etc, but - I found that if you simply add a new program, the new program runs fine, the old one does not. So the programs sometimes just get into a bad state and stop running. 3. When things don't work - you do NOT get a notification. 4. Sometimes they start watering and don't stop. Ooops. And of course, no notification. 5. If you are still not deterred by the poor reliability, the app for programming is terrible. Each device is managed separately - you CANNOT have one program that runs multiple devices in sequence. You have to manage them separately - switch from one device to another to program it, view, history of watering, and most importantly, you have to carefully manage the start times, so that you don't have overlapping watering. When you get to 3 or 4 devices, it's a nightmare. I have an Orbit multi-zone in-ground timer, too, that one works great, and the app supports programs for multiple zones. But these hose end timers were slapped on to the same app with a terrible design that does not allow grouping them, with disastrous usability consequences. That was 2 years ago, and no updates to the app.

Excellent for remote control by phone.
Great for timing water supply. I use for plants at our 2nd home. Once set up, can be controlled by phone. Do not let freeze or you will need a new unit. Take inside, because disconnecting hose will not drain water inside unit which will freeze.

Get the Bluetooth to WiFi hub as well
Works great. Iโve been using it for about 6 months and I wish I bought it sooner.

Still battery drain. NOT compatible with gen1 hubs, cost to upgrade from gen1 doubles
2nd UPDATE: back down to 2 stars because with gen 2 they still haven't solved the battery drain problems. Batteries only lasting a few weeks. UPDATE: I upgraded from 2 stars to 3 after receiving my new gen 2 wifi hub and reading up on why I couldn't use the gen1 hub. The initial setup process is drastically better than what I remembered from the gen1 setup a couple years ago. Now we shall see whether or not they improved the constant glitches and bugs and battery life issues of gen1 that frustrated me constantly, and whether this gen2 will last more than 2 seasons. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After nonstop frustration with the gen1 version of this, this gen2 isn't off to a good start ... They need to warn gen1 owners that their hub IS NOT COMPATIBLE with gen2 hose timers. You have to spend even more money to replace your gen1 hub with a gen2 hub. I thought I wouldn't need a new hub and only picked this gen2 timer because it was half the price of the competition. If I had known that the forced hub upgrade would equalize the prices, I would have bought the competition's device to see if it can last longer than 2 seasons without all the connectivity frustrations and errors. Ends up beeing bad value. Hope they actually tried to fix gen1 problems... So tired of companies releasing half-baked products that have to constantly be replaced.

Great product but do your research
I love the B-hyve hose timers. We have used them for the past few years. Be sure you order with a hub when adding that first Gen2 unit to your system. First and second generation systems are not compatible which is not listed in the product description. We had to order a 2nd gen hub that cost around $25 more than if we had ordered the hub and hose timer together. Great product line. App is easy to navigate. However, support for first gen units is less than desirable. Second gen appears to have been produced to correct 1st gen problems.

NPT thread
For any Australian buyers this does have an NPT thread and needs a GHT (BSP) adapter. It does come with a quick connect fitting for the hose though. Runs well with the V2 hub and seems to have better bluetooth range than my XD (could be imagining it)

Solved Adding in a New Zone
Adding this to my b-hyve ecosystem. Wanted to add another zone after the fact of running my lines under concrete. I currently have a 4 way main b-hyve and off of 1 of the zones I used this single line with another single line unit to split it into 2, programmed to have the main 4 way open the valve and the same time open only 1 single valve for the 1 existing zone and then have the other single valve open after for the new zone 2. So sometimes the most best laid out plans do not always work out but this helped address it and worked very well.
