Easy to Use and Perfect for DIY Projects
The XLW 16MB push-button sound module works great and is very easy to set up. Recording audio was straightforward, and the Type-C connection made transferring and managing recordings simple. The sound quality from the built-in speaker is clear and loud enough for small projects and displays. The push button responds well and feels durable, making it ideal for DIY projects, personalized greeting boxes, holiday crafts, or gift surprises. Having up to 16 minutes of recording time provides plenty of space for custom messages or multiple recordings. Everything worked as advertised right out of the box, and the compact size made it easy to integrate into my project. Overall, this is a solid, user-friendly sound module that delivers great value for creative and personalized builds. Highly recommended.

Easy to Use, Adaptable to Multiple Projects Requiring Sound
I ordered this to modify a Spirit Halloween Ghostbusters Walkie Talkie, which had a preprogrammed sound unit with a single (and repetitive) audio file. I was able to access online (through a link on GBFans) the original audio files from the Ghostbusters video game, downloaded and converted them to smaller MP3 files, then loaded them onto this unit. It went flawlessly. This unit has multiple playback modes that can be adjusted, but does not have a multiple file shuffle or random playback mode. By it's default setting, it will play the files in the sequence you load them. In my case, I wanted to maintain a certain order of playback so it would resemble a conversation the Ghostbuster characters were having, so I applied a 3 digit number to the front of each file name. Easy to use, can be adapted for multiple uses, perfect for what I needed.
