Buyers, be aware that the DLC will only work if you purchase from the UK PS store (use Paypal) with this version. If you want to avoid the hassle of creating a UK account, buy your country base game instead. Aside from that, this is a top tier souls-like game that hits close to a fromsoft title. Incredible cinematic story, great combat mechanics, cool weapon arts, & beautiful OST!! Look forward to whatever game(s) they have coming next, there is huge potential with recreating more old classic literature to more twisted & dark fantasy.

Fantastic and interesting souls-like rpg! Highly recommend and not just a clone. It stands on its own two feet and is worthy of a play!

A great game. However, as others have mentioned, if you live in the usa DO NOT BUY THIS VERSION! It has the pegi 16 logo on the cover which quickly tells you this is the PAL/UK version. That means if you then buy the DLC on the ps store, it will NOT work with this copy of the game. really odd the the dlc is region locked like that, but wanted to share with others. I had to create a UK based ps account and purchase the uk version of the dlc in order for it to work with this copy of the game.

Great game with good story

This game is amazing. I’ve never played a souls game but I got hooked as soon as I started this game. This game will challenge your skill while taking you through the captivating lore of Pinocchio and you’ll see characters and themes from the original story. Just note that this is not the US version of the game so you can’t download any US add ons or DLCs. I ended up returning this and bought the US version. 10/10 would play again.

If you're looking for a non fromsoft souls-like game, you would be hard pressed to find one better than this. This game is incredible, and really well made. The combat is satisfying and reminiscent of Sekiro, while offering more build variety. It does really well at emulating the souls genre while still putting its own twist on things. Despite the somewhat silly premise of "pinnochio dark souls," the game's world and lore still manages to be really intriguing. This is really a must have game for any fan of the genre. I haven't beaten it yet, but unless they really mess up in the second half, I can see no major downsides.

Peak action. That kind of gameplay that has you on your toes even with mob enemies, you can’t get bored because you die if you get complacent. It is often compared to Bloodborne for the having a similar Dodge Mechanic but it is a hybrid of Dodge and Parry that has you dancing with enemies.

This is coming from someone who has almost 100%ed all fromsoft souls games. This is probably the best soulslike out there. The combat is like bloodborne, but with sekiro parrying, with a mix of Pinocchio. I 100%ed this game and it’s new dlc. Fantastic game. It’s pretty hard but I’d say the souls games are harder. You’ll probably be fine as long as you have good patience and/or played some fromsoft games and know what to expect. I very much recommend this game. And by the way, I mentioned the dlc earlier but the dlc isn’t included in with this game annoyingly. I think it’s like £30 but I definitely recommend the dlc too. It’s better than the base game.
