What happened?
I am a big fan of Barbara Moore's work, I especially love her Steampunk Tarot.I was very excited by the concept of the Book of Shadows Tarot, and it having 2 decks one very spiritual and one more grounded in real life.I purchased the lovely box that has room for both decks, and only had to wait about 3-4 weeks for the second deck.The "As Above" deck is absolutely gorgeous, has some great stunning artwork and although it has it differences is a good deck.I was all excited for the "So Below" deck to complete the set, when I opened the deck and started going through the cards my heart sank. The artwork isnt even at 25% of the calibre of the first deck, it feels cheap and rushed. Also it feels a bit like "Lesbian Fantasia" as I think a male only gets shown on about 5 cards. I know Barbara's other decks can be very female focused, but you can look past that and see great artwork. This one is just a wasted opportunity. If only the same artists involved in the first deck had illustrated this one then they would feel like a cohesive set and not 2 decks that have no right being with each other. I know they are meant to be contrasting decks but the quality of artwork shouldnt be the main difference.I think this set will now be filed away in my collection, never to be used for readings, shame!

J'adore mais papier tres fin
Ce tarot est très joli, les illustrations sont féminines, originales et très ancrées dans le quotidien. Arrivé emballé neuf.J'enlève une étoile pour :- l'illustration du dos qui n'est pas très jolie- l'épaisseur du papier tres finPour ces raisons, je l'utiliserais comme support méditatif pour moi meme, je ne l'utiliserais pas pour tirer les cartes à l'extérieur. Les cartes ne tiendront jamais le coup sinon.Pour conclure, pour un usage de collection ou ne pas trop l'utiliser, acheter ce jeu il est magique !Pour vraiment tirer le tarot, je ne le conseille pas car il est trop fragile.
