OK, it is plastic.. but the accuracy is still there! I use this with my 3D printer projects and it's never been wrong! Comes with multiple batteries, despite battery life being incredibly long. Easy to use and read, switch between english and metric at the push of a button. Automatic shut-off if you get forgetful.. automatic on, or manual on. Digits are very large and readable even by senior eyes. Calibrates itself upon each closure. Storage case a bit on the cheap side, but I'm still using it!!

I recently ordered this Digital Vernier Style Caliper from ESYDON. I've owned multiple Vernier calipers in the past, both low-end and moderately high- end, digital and non but unfortunately all were lost in a recent move. I have run into multiple situations - one too many perhaps- where a caliper would have been exceedingly beneficial, so I decided to order one. I'm still looking for employment since my move and finances are a bit tight so I purposely looked for a lower-end, inexpensive digital caliper for now. I am a remodel contractor and wood worker -not a machinist or engineer- so my needs are a bit less demanding in regards to precision, though accuracy is still important. I am very satisfied (well, mostly) with the price/affordability, ease of use, ease of reading, accuracy, and build of this exceedingly inexpensive plastic caliper. The ESYDON Digital Carrier arrived in its own clear, formed plastic case which helps to protect the caliper, and also included 3 button batteries (one needed for operation), a very small Phillips screwdriver for accessing the battery compartment, and a small sheet regarding battery replacement. The caliper operates quite smoothly despite being plastic and its cost. The adhered scale features both inches (0"-6" in 1/32 divisions) and metric (0-150mm in 1mm increments) and is very clear and easy to read. The digital scale is very visible, easy to read, and easy to use. The digital scale can be activated either with the on/off button or by simply opening the caliper. Also included is a button to alternate between mm and inch displays, as well as a zeroing button. While this unit is obviously more fragile than a well constructed, expensive caliper, it should provide years of continued, accurate use of cared for properly. (The only issue I encountered is that the screw "threads" of the battery compartment (what the compartment screw threads into) were slightly stripped on arrival; rather than return this, I'll simply repair the issue. I am very happy - especially given the exceedingly affordable price- with the quality and function of the ESYDON Digital Caliper.

I recently got into watch collecting and reviewing over the past year, and while I already own an expensive stainless steel digital caliper, I wanted something made from a softer material that would still be accurate enough for measuring watches without risking scratches or scuffs on my collection. The Esydon Upgraded 6-inch Digital Caliper turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Right out of the box, I was impressed with everything included. It comes with a simple protective storage case, two extra batteries in addition to the one already installed, and even a small screwdriver for opening the battery compartment. I especially appreciate the screw-secured battery cover because it prevents accidental openings while using the caliper. The overall quality, durability, appearance, and lightweight feel are all excellent, especially considering the price point. Adjustability-wise, the caliper slides effortlessly and does have a bit of resistance, so it doesn't stray. Most importantly, the accuracy has been outstanding for my intended use. It consistently zeros back perfectly every time, and switching between inches and millimeters is quick and easy with the push of a button. Another nice feature is the built-in slide ruler, which can still be used if the battery ever dies. I tested it against my watches, and it is spot-on accurate as well. One of my review photos show it measuring one of my watch cases precisely at 44mm both with the digital readout and the slide ruler. For anyone looking for an affordable, accurate, and watch-friendly digital caliper, I would highly recommend this one. I am extremely happy with this purchase and it has been perfect for my personal use.

Digital calipers are actually quite useful. They seem to work well, but be cautious. I was using one when the scale suddenly reset to -.1 mm, so I had to reset it again. The on off button is a bit finicky and the calipers turn on by themselves when handling. They come with a small screwdriver and two batteries, one built-in and two extra. This makes them a great value. The caliper points are good, but it would be nice to have an option to insert needle points for measuring specific wire inputs, like JST wires. Overall, it’s a pretty good product.

It's made of plastic so it doesn't feel sturdy but it appears to be accurate for simple measurements. I wouldn't use this in a lab for scientific purposes but for measuring things around the house, or for simple 3D modelling projects, this is a fine tool and well worth the price. The buttons are okay, not as tactile as I wanted but they do the job. The display is okay, like calculator display.

It’s a plastic, but well worth it, for a basic accuracy. This is not your typical tool for high precision jobs But good to have around for occasional measuring.

Excellent Digital Caliper – Accurate and Easy to Use! I am very impressed with this digital caliper. It is accurate, easy to read, and simple to operate. The large LCD display makes measurements clear, and switching between inches and millimeters is quick and convenient. The caliper feels sturdy and well-made, yet lightweight enough for comfortable use. I have used it for measuring small parts, household projects, and hobby work, and it has provided consistent, precise results every time. The zero-reset function is especially helpful for comparative measurements. For the price, this is an outstanding value. I would highly recommend this digital caliper to anyone needing reliable and accurate measurements. Great product!

Machinists can be real snobs about their tools. Especially measurement tools. I am a machinist. These are great and have their place. They are accurate enough down to any measurement that I'd trust any caliper. If you need more, reach for a micrometer in my opinion. They are plastic, so abuse will damage them more readily than a metal one. But they are also dirt cheap. I always keep a handful of these around almost every corner of my shop for quick spot checks, sometimes reverse engineering where the tolerances aren't too tight etc. And best part, if they get damaged or just stop working, toss them. It's not an investment.
