Ring doughnut cutter. This is a great ring doughnut tool. The cutter comes with a set of tongs that you use to lift and dip the doughnuts into the glaze which saves your finger getting messy and sticky which worked well on the runny glaze but not so good on the thicker icing, i went back to using my hands for the thick icing. The cutter looks small but even after cutting the dough they rise further while waiting to be fried so end up a good size, about the same as shop bought ring doughnuts. It's so easy to get consistent results and i love that you also have the holes which i fried and covered in cinnamon sugar, which were delicious. After cutting out the doughnuts i used burger parchment rounds to place each doughnut on before frying which is so helpful when transferring to oil, just make sure you roll out your dough on plenty of flour or they'll stick to the parchment paper like some of mine did.

This Doughnut Cutter also came with a small set of plastic tongs which sadly I’m too ham-fisted to handle properly so I have had to use my normal sized ones instead. After using one other type of doughnut cutter, I must say that I found this one easier to use and it gave me not only some decent sized doughnuts but also some good doughnut holes as well. The size of this cutter makes 3.2”/8cm (approximately) wide doughnuts and it weighs very little, so it would be good for any little ones who enjoy giving you a “helping” hand in the kitchen, and also for those who have issues with their fine motor skills. The material that this is made from is Food Grade Polypropylene (aka PP) which will hopefully help it to be more durable and effective over time. The manufacturer recommends that this doughnut cutting device should not be washed in a dishwasher because of the risk that the machine/heat will cause the plastic to deform and possibly cause it to be more brittle and therefore more prone to breakages. The feature that I found most helpful for me was the central part which helped me to remove the sticky dough away from the cutter and likewise with the central part of the dough, so it allowed me to make less waste than I usually would have otherwise. The cutter gave me some good clean results, with only a little bit of pulling on the dough, so I found this particular cutter sharp enough for me. At the current price point, I think that it represents decent quality and value for money.

This was perfect , a bit smaller than I expected but made some amazing donuts in my airfryer using this cutter.
