Intensive test with an expensive gaming mouse as a reference
Hi everyone, I tested the Snakebyte gaming mouse and as a reference I have the Corsair M65. Packaging: the packaging is completely basic. Nothing spectacular. I think this is simple because of the price. (Picture) 2* for handling: I find the mouse quite heavy. It's not good to have a really light mouse for gaming because it affects your precision. Every movement should be made intentionally. That's why good mice always have a built in weight and in the best case the mouse is balanced. Unfortunately I think this mouse is way too heavy. Even with a higher DPI it wasn't comfortable to handle. Partial rating: 2* for lighting: it's a shame that there's no software to change the colour of the mouse. The best thing would be if you could change the colour according to DPI settings. I.e. 600 DPI -> red, 1200 DPI -> yellow. Because then when you're gaming you have to use the button if you want to change the DPI settings. Then you first have to work out why you have a bad aim and then find the DPI again. Partial rating: 2* for the finish: the front and back side buttons rattle a bit. I had hoped for a better finish with these buttons. The rest of the mouse is really well finished. For the price it's really good. The metal plate under gives the mouse a good glide. I had a soft gamepad underneath. Partial rating: 4* for gaming: I need a mouse for finger tip grip. It was difficult to reach the side buttons when gaming. My opinion is therefore subjective here. It's not so suitable for finger tip grip. I think this mouse would be good for gamers who prefer palm grip. Altogether I reached a rating of 2.5*
