These floating candles look very cool once hung up! They all seem to work well and the flickering light makes these look like real candles. I ordered the ones with the remote wand which I highly recommend. Because you can turn them off and on with just one touch of a button. The ones without the remote will have to be manually turned off one by one, which can be quite a pain since you hang them from the ceiling. So definitely pay the few extra bucks for the ones with the remote. It’s definitely worth it. I do however have two downsides to these candles. 1. They use A TON of batteries! Each candle requires 2 AA batteries each and the remote wand requires 1 AA battery. So you will need to have 25 batteries which are not included. 2. The string that they give you to hang these is super thin and it is very difficult to tie these up because it is so thin that it is very hard to work with. However it does appear to be quite strong which is a good thing. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it took me a good hour just to get them all tied up. Overall the downsides do not outweigh the positives because these really add a very cool floating candle effect which will be perfect for my upcoming Halloween party. I definitely recommend these floating candles if you want to add a really cool effect to your Halloween or Harry Potter display! Just remember to purchase plenty of batteries and be prepared to take some time to tie them up as this part can be quite tedious especially because the string is so thin you can barely see it.

This is perfect for any Harry Potter Theme. Easy install, although I would recommend thicker line. I used some fishing line I had on hand. The line comes with product may be ok to use, I just could not tie it in a knot because it was as thin as my hair. I am sure it would hold good. Everyone compliments the lights. So cute and work well with wand remote. So far everything working great....Helped to put the finishing touch on my HP Halloween display.

I really love them. The fishing line that comes with it is super thin, makes the candles look like they are floating. I bought the 12 pack with the wand. I use them as Halloween decorations in my camper. If you decorating a big room I would use several sets. I did use different little easy removable hooks. And I hung each candle individually. It took a little bit of time to hang them, but it was totally worth it. The batteries are the only bad thing I can find about it. Each candle takes 2 AA batteries plus one for the wand. I have not had them on for extended times so I do not know how long the batteries will last. They look really nice and have a soft glow with a little flicker. Makes it look like a real candle. They don’t heat up and they are well made for the price. There is plenty of the line left to reuse next time. I would definitely recommend.

We used these candles for our school holiday choir concert. These candles look phenomenal on stage. Super easy to store and pack with batteries. Super easy to store, light weight and easy to handle. Will be using more of these for our concert next year.

This was soo fun to put up. It does take work but it is worth it!I had soo much fun surprising my fiancé while he was feeling down.The wand worked perfectly with the wave while pushing the on button. The cute little lights flicker a bit, and as long as you don't leave it on for days, it lasts a while with the battery.Super fun! Just make sure to use thumbtacks, because the sticky seal that comes with it is waaay too strong but for good reason because the candle is a bit heavy with the batteries in it. So unless it is permanent placing, it is easy to tie to loop the candles around the thumbtack.

I bought these for a Harry Potter themed birthday party and we left them up as part of our Halloween decorations. They’re great; super cute and never ran out of life with the Amazon Basics batteries I used in them in the month they were up and used.HOWEVER, you need to use different stickies to attach them to your ceiling. I used the ones that were provided with the candles and they did a lot of damage. We just took them down and they ripped off the paint. We tried using a razor blade and the metal blade actually broke while trying to peel about its 6th one off. We also tried using Goo Gone to loosen the adhesive and it did nothing.I’m still saving these for next year’s Halloween, I’ll just be buying the stickies that have pull tabs for easier take down. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go repaint my ceiling… 😣

This was much fun. Easy set up. The flames on them feel like real candles, but without that whole 'i forgot to put them out and burn down the house' problem.

I don’t normally write reviews for things I buy on Amazon. Before I bought these hanging candles I read the reviews and was not surprised to read that it was difficult to use the fishing wire to attach the candle to the ceiling. Well, they were right. I tried for over an hour to do one candle and finally stopped and thought there’s got to be a better way so, I recalled that I have some very thin silver jewellery wire that worked perfectly, a breeze to attach. It added a little sparkle and instead of spending a long time trying to get one candle ready to hang I got all of them done in about 15 minutes. They look wonderful up and I’m not the least bit sorry that I bought them and I’m sure I will get a lot of years out of pleasure using these candles PD

Just buy it. Takes 2 AA batteries each, easy to turn on and off and completely set the mood and vibe for our Harry potter party 💯 bought 3 sets. Used elastic jewellery string to hang onto ceiling with strong tape after wrapping around flame head. After the party, we've been using them in glass jars as night lights during hot nights. So pretty when they flicker. Thanks again!

These are great. We’ve added them to a bridge of lights. Perfect all year round not just for Christmas. We like to see them in our window when we return home. A sweet welcome for visitors too

I bought these to put in a chandeleir for Xmas, and not only did they fit perfectly, they actually really worked! So happy :-)

They take 2 AA batteries each, have no way to turn off except to unscrew each one individually, don’t come with wire or sticky pads for hanging. The actual candles glow bright and look pretty though, just have to do a few more things to get “floating candles”.
