Good gloves but as others have said they are not waterproof. Being suede I find it difficult to believe that they can be waterproofed, although some degree of water resistance may be attained with the right treatment. If you need waterproof gloves then I suggest you try a fully coated or rubberised pair.

Q: Can anyone say how these gloves compare with Town & Country Leather gardening gloves (also bright yellow)?

These are Chinese but even the sizes are good. Been using them since last October no rips or tears and no thorns from the mass of Brambles were able to permeate through the gloves. Still plenty of life in the first pair 2nd pair still in the sellophane bag. When i ned to i will not hesitate to purchase these again ,but i don't think it is going to be for some time. Hope this helps .

I've no idea what carbon fibre sheets are but these gloves are pretty tough. They withstand handling brambles, which is what I bought them for.
