I bought this for blacking out light, comfort, and white noise without having to be connected to bluetooth, which it does an excellent job of all of those things. I have not connected to bluetooth, and I will have no need for that feature--I only need the recorded white noise selection.Some masks that are sold are made of silk or satin, for which the materials can make annoying noise in various ways, but the material on this one is perfect and quiet. When just wearing it without any white noise, not only does the material on my ears muffle sound a little bit, but the little speakers (when not on) muffle sound even a little better, and the speakers cause me no discomfort when sleeping on side.I would rate it a 4.5 if I could because, like other products occasionally, the designer had some kind of blackout of common sense in the way that when I have the while noise on, there is a blue light that flashes and won't stop. I don't see it when I'm wearing the mask, but I don’t think my spouse would appreciate opening her eyes at night to see that light flashing into her eyes. So I cut out small squares of duct tape and had to put four layers over the lighted area in the middle of the mask--nothing duct tape can't fix, right?5/14/2024 update. No change to my previous comments, but will add that I like that I it memorizes which recorded sound that was used last; so just push the button, and that same sound that was used last is still there. However, it does not memorize the volume setting, so wakes me up a bit to monkey around with that in the middle of the night.I just now lost the mask on a travel trip, but with all considered, I am ordering this same one again.
